Quick Start RTL SDR with HDSDR Installation

This is a quick start guide for installing an RTL-SDR with HDSDR. Even if you do not plan on using HDSDR the installation of the Zadig USB portion is universally applicable for other SDR software. Note this is a remix of a previously published video with the sound re-mastered.

I installed HDSDR with my dongle. I have it working on the upper bands. Flipped over to "Q" and tried getting HF bands, and couldn't get a single signal. Not peep can be heard or found I have HDSDR installed, the DLL file, and Zadig, working on Wons 10, still nothing being heard at all, signal wise. Static yes, signals NO (that's not excluding the SDR oscillator back-ground noise I get that no problem. I'm using an "HF band Active Antenna" to receive stations. Anything to fix the issue, and get it running right?

I assume you followed the directions precisely? Have you tried a different USB port?
