Is it sad I listen to these at work with headphones to make the day faster 😂
You’re not alone 😅
Cool! I rode the red line from Harvard to Ashmont last month!
The 1800 series trains on the Red Line were the first subway trains in North America to have automated station announcements when they were first delivered between the fall of 1994 and the spring of 1996.
I rode the red line from Davis to Ashmont, did a round trip on the Mattapan Trolley, rode the red line from Ashmont to Alewife, and went back to Davis. A long but fun day.
I miss this. Live a few hours away. It this is better than nothing. Thanks for the ride
I've rode this line up until Harvard, and down to Braintree. BTW, the guy in the white top and the blue shorts toward the beginning was cute! Woof!
There are always 1 or 2 sets of doors that are broken on these train models so don’t be surprised if you see a set of doors w/ only one door open.
nice job filming.
37:15 THIS TRAIN IS BEING TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE!!! Used to terrify me as a kid
Welcome to the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority. This piloted train is provided for the security and convenience of the citizens of Boston. Please feel free to move about the train or simply sit back and enjoy the ride.
Like your videos of the red line buddy. Feel the nostalgic sound of the trains watching the video. I guess I'd enjoy a real train ride by physically being on it hopefully next year in September. Also it would be good if you filmed the other side where the opposite track is as trains pass by and can see the tunnels. Thanks.
Can you do the blue line next?
