I always enjoy your uploads glad to see you back on the ice nice fish!! I finally got my pb lake trout this season 43 inch.. I also fish that simcoe 75 the white one I got them cause your videos they work great here in Utah…
That’s a giant!! Good work!! Yeah, the first time I ever used the simcoe 75 hw was last year in one of the videos I filmed and since it’s become one of my favorite laker baits all season. Thanks for watching the videos and hope your Utah ice fishing goes great!!
Yeah, glad the pike took off strong. I’ve caught some real deep while laker fishing and that fish was blown up as much as I’ve ever seen. Thanks for watching and the comment!
That's a nice glass-bottom boat! I've never seen anyone bring a blow torch to a ice fishing experience, but it definitely showcased some fun fish. Great idea and nice fish, Josh! I guess you figured out that Norsk lithium batteries are waterproof, eh? :) Have a good one!
@@FishcastAngling Ha, ha! I’m glad it still works for you. Good to see you making another video. Keep us guessing. It’s working. ;) Myself, I was about to make another video tonight and found out my 14TB hard drive is crashing and my computer recommended me saving things asap. I’ll need to find the space to edit again so it might take me longer than I’d like before I get back on filming and making videos.
@@kingfishing5058 if you ever want to make a trip out this way for lakers through the ice, feel free to get in touch with me for some info/updates. I guide in the summer but just fun fish during the winters so far.
So question why dont you make fishing videos on Missouri River or on Yellowstone River? Cuz i think they would be pretty good videos! And also great Fort Peck video 😀
Thanks for watching and the comment! I fish and film a lot of adventures I never get around to editing haha but with input like yours might be a higher chance I try to get out a video river fishing sometime!
@@loganoutdoors9730he probably doesn’t know Josh anyone that criticizes a person for missing a hookset on a laker has had it happen to them just as much haha.
If I may ask what satellite imagery did you use? I am heading out in the end of February and I’m using the lake Monster app and it doesn’t seem to be updated and not the greatest image. Thanks and great video!
ge.ssec.wisc.edu/modis-today/ That’s the link to what I’ve been using. It’s very hit and miss due to cloud cover etc. there’s a couple different map options you can pick from and then you can zoom in. Takes a minute to find a clear day and get zoomed in etc correctly. Btw Thanks for watching!
Thanks for posting that link it could be very useful for longer trips to iced in lakes ,its a 4 hr drive for us to go might make planning easier.@@FishcastAngling
