I bought this machine about 7 months ago... when I took it out of the box and tried to use it for basic embroidery - I realized how complicated these machines are - but I was tired of paying big bucks for all the embroidery jobs I was doing...
Now, with this and a few other helpful videos I'm starting to get more comfortable with this machine and will soon be doing the small embroidery jobs I need - on my own machine. Thank you!

Can you use 5x7 hoop on this machine

A 5” x 7” frame is not available for this machine. There is an optional Baby Lock multi-position hoop (EF71) available which is 4” x 6-7/10”. The embroidery field for this machine is slightly under 4” x 4”. To use the multi-position to stitch larger designs, the design would need to be split in an optional software program, then stitched in two or three segments by repositioning the hoop for each segment.
If you are shopping for an embroidery machine that can use a 5” x 7” frame you may want to consider the Baby Lock Bloom. Click the link below to view it on our Phil’s Sewing online store.
