- The UNSC on Qutari finally receive their orders. To infiltrate a ONI research facility and gather data and samples of a chemical weapon. Meanwhile Davis still struggles with his guilt because of the events at Harvest. The ODSTs must lean on one another to get through this mission. Will they survive?

I can not stress this enough, but you’re improving drastically. The quality of the animation, attention to details, techniques, story, set design.. the list goes on. You never fail to impress me! I love the drama, and tension between the ODSTs and Cas. It really ties it together. The fight between Cas and The Commander was also amazing. I really like how you didn’t make it super quick, and actually showed how Cas was of equal strength to The Commander. Thank you for letting me help you with this. I can’t wait to see what you do with the next part.

Hey badlaxe, I have come questions.
#1: would you ever consider doing a tutorial on the Quatari team? I think many of your other viewers would like a video like that. I think it'd be kind of cool for people that really like your characters.
#2: would you ever consider doing a collection video? The chances for this one are kinda slim considering you have a ton of customs. A lot of your figures are mix matched, such as the Quatari team. But I think some of the curious people, such as I(mainly just me)would like to see your Mega Construx collection.
#3: what's your favorite ice cream flavor? Mines Mocha Almond Fudge or Death by Chocolate. I'm kinda conflicted since they're both SOOOOOOOO good. But you mind telling me your favorite? I'm guessing Rocky Road but maybe something more unique.
Please answer my questions so I can get on with my lonely, and boring, quarantine...so please tell me.
#1 I may do a tutorial on the Qutari team but I’m not entirely sure, I’m sort of interested in doing some tutorials on rain and my effects first but doing a tutorial on the Qutari team does seem a bit interesting.
#2 I’ve never given much thought to a collection video. I guess I’m indifferent. If I feel I should do it I will.
#3 my favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip, however cookies and cream is what I’ve been having the most of lately. They’re both really good.

Now that that's done I'm going back into cryo sleep until this all blows over, hopefully I don't wake up in 2555 and I'm the last human on earth. The sides are from the halo wars sergeant forgot his name, and he used Call Of Duty backpack with Cod excessories, he also used Reynolds helmet, but the chest and legs are an idk. I hope this helps!

That marines helmet turned into an ODST helmet. Is that a hallucination of the guilt of Reynolds death haunting him and that one of his teammates could die in this mission?

No words for this one. You continue to improve and impress in every aspect of animation. The fight scene between Cas and the brute captain has to be one of the best animated mega construx scenes I have every seen. Not to mention the outstanding amount of detailing that went into the set, and the incredible story itself. Can't wait for the next part!
Words cannot explain how some this stop motion action sequences are by far the best I've ever seen. It was very amazing
I went back and watched all the other related stopmotions, so I could come into this one with the most amount of background knowledge. I love how the story has been built up, and how the plot and characters of the marines story, have joined with the planet Qutari story. I don’t know how you managed to create such a well thought out story, but it’s awesome. Aside from the story, the animation in this is incredible, and there is a lot of improvement compared to the first planet Qutari film. There’s also a lot of nice details and touches. Like when Daniels got shot in the leg again, or when Davis hallucinated and saw a jackal as Maverick. I also like that during the battle sequence, the camera had a constant slight shake, to show how chaotic the battle was. Great job, this is an incredible animation Badlaxe
I’m very happy you went back to watch the full storyline! It makes the final experience worth it. I’ve honestly made most of this story up as I went but as I proceeded through the storyline I started coming up with it in more detail. I’m also happy someone pointed out the small details in the battle scene. It really makes it worth it. I hope I can improve it and make it even better in the future :) thanks for the comment Rushing.

I thought you couldn't get better, only could get better quality witth time but I was wrong, you're animations keep getting better and better and storywise too! I already loved the series but now you seem to know excactly where you're going with all of this and it looks much cleaner and it's easier to understand the story, even if it was already pretty easy to follow. You just keep getting better and I can't wait for more! Hope we can callaborate again in the future:P

I just want to say that this series is one of the best groups of halo stop motions out there and definitely my favorite for many reasons. It’s also really inspired me to make some stop motions of my own. Congratulations on doing such a great job on this masterpiece.
I must say your improvements are immeasurable. You've gotten so much better and these videos get more and more pleasing to watch. And the story. The story is polished, its thought out, and it's completely away from the canon, which means no restraint on you to live up to the canon. Good shit man, great job.

Again, when I was asleep...I watched it though and I can only say one thing: FRIGGIN BADLAXE YOUVE DONE IT AGAIN! the animation was so buttery smooth and the fight scene between Cas and the Commander and how the hierarchs made him betray him, OOOOOHHH. And then the part where the team opened the door, OOooh wait minute, it ended there? Again with the terrible CLIFFHANGER but I'm not complaining. You really outdid yourself my friend and I hope you know you're my favorite Animator for this very reason. You continue to surpass your own limits every time. You did it with Marines, which gave you valuable experience. You then built off that and here you are. Another thing I like about you is the way you portray war. You put it in the sense that nobody gets out without loss, each opposing factor, good or bad, losses something. Like the scece with the GOSH DARN RAIN, MMMMMMMM, and how you tell how many Marines were KIA and how many were injured. You've showed me that there is a cost of war, nobody gets out without a scratch or two. And now I'll discuss the part that I was looking forward too, THE FIGURES. I like how you replaced James's armour, it's the exact same figure just in new articulation. And I saw that you've really increased your collection. You have the old rookie, I think some other figures like brutes, and some more Halo 3 Marines. I know you got Marine Defense because you had the darker skinned marine. And you probably got some A New Dawn marines. I'm glad you got these, their some of my favorite figures and I hope you enjoy them too! Now with all that said, I'm going to go eat. Everything else like the lighting and voices, has already been said. I just woke up 30 minutes ago and I'm pretty darn hungry. So great animation Badlaxe, really great a animation, and I'll see you later
What stands out to me in this episode is the long beginning. It's mostly just talking for the first 8 minutes without any action, but it was just as entertaining and felt more like 2 or 3 minutes max. Impressive, now that I think about that

If I’m correct, we never actually hear Rook’s name before he was an ODST, he was just called Sarge. Cuz in the last episode in marines the guy on the radio said if he wanted a nick name and Sarge said he wanted Rook as his nickname, we know that Reynolds name was always Reynolds since he was called that in marines and continued to use it even though he was an ODST until his sad death. Same thing with Daniels. We also don’t know if the other ODSTs like Davis, James, Liam, and Maverick(deceased member) are just nick names for them, or those names are their actual names.
In Marines he is addressed as Gunnery Sergeant Raymond 3 times in Second Platoon and he’s called Raymond once in Supply Route. As far as Ambush is concerned though you’re right. He’s only called Sarge or Sir.

Dude... this is coming from someone who has watched stop motion videos for years, seeing different feels , styles ,and techniques and I've done some myself your videos are some of the best I've ever seen if not THE best I've seen! Although not perfect but nothing ever is thoe... a good example is when Raymond was asked what his nickname would be and he said rook, i feel he said it too quickly as there wasn't enough moment but your not doing the thing where other people have the moment or sences a bit too long

I really love the first combat scene, I just love how hectic the opening to it is, it's really like how I'd imagine this sort of fight in real life. You're probably the best at creating stop motion action Scenes they're always so hectic but you take the time to show off certain people at certain times, I also love how just spontaneous some things could be, like when the warthog hit land mine and bullets start flying. Anyways Badlaxe Love your creations.

Outstanding job! This one already topped the previous parts. This series just keeps getting better. Love the character interactions in beginning. I’m interested to see how Davis will deal with his PTSD as the series goes on. Btw poor Daniels and James. They always seem to get injured in every film.

Outstanding work the animation, set deign, audio and lighting are all really well done. I really loved how you depicted the battle as being chaotic, but still made it easily to follow what was going on. Also that one on one fight was amazing choreographed with both fighter being evenly matched.

Superb production. Great audio, sets and lighting. Brilliant dialog and voice acting. Probably the most intense, gruesome and well detailed firefight I have ever seen in a stop motion. Amazing stuff.

Man the elite is like the agent Carolina from red vs blue and I gotta say you did a amazing job with the stop motion in the series both action and non action are great and I definitely want to see more of these stop motion animations

So according to the scene at the beginning with Kurt and the Mysterious Figure, the ODSTs are all at the least, 43 years old.
It also explains in that scene they were cryo frozen

That dark Spec Ops: The Line feeling bit, where the body turned out of be a random marine was amazing.
And also the dead guy I cannot for the life of me remember the name of, turning out to just be a jackal.
Ah yeah the hallucination scenes, the first one with the marine was Reynolds and the second one with the Jackal was Maverick. Maverick didn’t make it too far in Harvest.

Everyone has already said what needs to be said! Everything is perfect. I can never make gun fights interesting enough but you nail it everytime! One thing I wanted to ask you about is your camera angles, specfically in the first half when there's a lot of talking. For example, at 2:12, the shot is focused more on his chest than his head which would be in line with the rule of thirds - just wanted to be nitpicky! Can't wait for the next one bud.
Ah! For the camera angles it’s partly due to my tripod. It’s a bit unstable but it’s the one that’s lasted the longest. I hope it keeps lasting!🤞To be honest I usually just point the camera at the subject, at the part I want, make sure it looks good, and start taking pictures. I do however remember a little about the rule of thirds so I try to implement it when I can.
You (Badlaxe), Stinger, Mootroid, Alexis, W2daERN, Axiology, and Wyoming are the best mega construx animators out there
I can’t speak for the other animators out there but I definitely don’t consider myself as good as them :) I’ve still got a lot to learn. Thank you though, that means a lot 👍
I don’t agree with either of you. Badlaxe, you put yourself too low against most animators. You are one of the best and you cannot Deny it. You’re a great story teller, matching storytelling talent with Alexis, but your animation against him crushes Alexis. Stinger is almost catching up to you in animation wise but his story telling will never be as complex as yours. Axiology may be experiences and might have even given you tips, but most of his stop motions are tests and have no story telling to them, your animation is also a lot better than his. Wyoming has story telling on his side and animation, but I believe you two are matching. Mootroid is also on your level in story telling, but I think his animation is a bit lesser than yours since he uses blur and possibly frame blending to make his animation look a lot better. And finally W2daERN, he is very irrelevant in this discussion. You need to know that you are very good, so stop thinking you are a peasant to them.

The Stop motion Pro app and I edit it with Videoshop, the GunMovieFX app, and the green screen app (that’s actually what it’s called. It has a squid as it’s app icon)

Dang, 25 years later?! Our characters are really old. Elites can still fight around at the age 90 and the arbiter is around 70 or 80 at around 2552 or something. So cas must be REALLY old unless he was really young during harvest, marines, and qutari
It says in the beginning they were put into Cryo-sleep. So they are physically the same age
With Cas he’s in his 20s or 30s around Marines

Oh my fucking god you out did yourself once again I thought your stop motions had been amazing but this just pushes it over board plus you put FREAKING SINDER!!!👌👌 the sets where awesome and carnage of all the dying marines around the battlefield was amazing the fight with cas and the chieftain felt personal and the way the ODST has little contributions to the fight was great too and I love the way the marines run in so hopefully but get slaughtered with the body parts and the screams and once again the cliff hanger... can’t wait to see what you come up with next badlaxe
