Love the pod but Mike how do you miss the fact that Omar Khan states clearly "I think it's not realistic we'll be taking a QB in Round 1" Maybe we grab a guy to sit and develop like a Joe Milton or the kid from Tulane but cmon Mike n Simms you guys are pros!

The Penix talk was before when nobody wanted him because that injury but he showed up at the combine and has everybody looking at him now so he most likely won’t be there at 20.

It would be a BIG mistake if the Steelers would happen to trade Fields during draft from so called rumors I've read? I know they need another QB from draft but it is better to have to veteran QB's on your roster instead of just one?

@@PatriotWatchUSA Yep dopey Fields fans still think he has some trade value. If I were Pittsburgh I would give him a start against the worst defense. If he happens to play well, then trade him. If he plays and is his usual bust, then what's the excuse. No O-line, no weapons, he has to build chemistry with his new team. 🤣

Unless Caleb Williams drops to 20, the Steelers are not taking a QB in round 1.
