Nice video Mike! I really liked the camera angle looking back on the cockpit from the engine cowling. Looking forward to seeing your carb heat solution
Sorry, but the answer's "No" since the installation has been experimental - like most of what I do - and hadn't reached it's final state until I made a number of alterations. For that reason I don't make drawings as a plan, but kinda make it up as I go along, mainly because I like to use materials that I have to hand and have to change the "design" to accomodate that as things progress. This is why some things look a little rough around the edges. If it helps, I can do a rough sketch of the set-up if you PM me.
Hah! What you don't know, because RUclips doesn't support ThermoVision, is that it's sunny but the temperature is Baltic! The water's so clear because nothing can survive in it for longer than 10 minutes. "Summer" begins in 10 days, and we haven't got above 7 degrees today. That's one reason why the bubble canopy is still on, and probably will be for a while. No complaints, though, now I've got a heater....:-)
Looking at the shots taken from your action camera and your trip out to the coast, your head seems really close to the canopy. Is this an issue with the Minisport and how tall are you, if thats not a rude question?
Not a rude question at all. Yes, my head clearance is minimal. I can wear a normal GA headset without contacting the canopy.. most of the time. If there is any turbulence the straps have to be tight or there is a slight risk that a big bump might hurt. I have contact marks on the inside of the bubble so this suggests that l'm right on the limit at 6ft tall. Of course, back length is a factor here. I have a friend who is taller than me by 1 inch but who has longer legs and fits Ok. I have a comfortable seat /back pad which could be removed to give a tiny bit more clearance, but only for local trips. I prefer to wear a helmet so I can only do that by swapping the bubble for the open hood. I have on order a helmet that I should be able to wear under the bubble canopy. Standby for a report!

Thank you, Will. The next mod video will come, but probably after the production currently in preparation, which is a little "different"...
Yes! another flying scotsman video clip! Beautiful!
Thank you - glad you enjoyed it.
Hello Mike, thanks for the great info’s. Have you any drawings for heating and cooling system? Kind regards
