Very 'creative' conversion mate.....works a treat! Just look at all those coloured gears inside that clear casing, nice! Hope you've got plenty of grease buddy?! 😂 Look forward to seeing how this thoroughly unique project turns out mate! 😊👍 👍
Now that, my friend, is how you delete the G601 centre differential! Nicely done Peter - with a bit of help from Tom! Boy oh boy that clear gearbox and the coloured cogs sure does look the business. Can't wait to see where you take us next time! Take care my good man! 😎👊👍
@@RCBirds Hi Dirk, if you use the black chassis, it won't matter how much white grease you use as you won't be able to see it 😆🤣🤪 But if you use the clear chassis, I would suggest that you use the normal grease to keep the cogs lubricated 👍👍👍
I love that chassis and the brightly colored gears! Neat little fix there to be able to convert it over to 4wd and not have to glue the drive cups into the center diff! Looking forward to seeing the next part! Have a great weekend Peter (we are almost there!)
@@AddamsPlayground Hi Addam, this project is being built up of many spare parts that I have acquired over the years. The only things I did purchase were the front and rear dogbones. Oh yes, the weekend is nearly upon us and I shall be working on the other 2 projects to get them done before Christmas 🎄
Hey Peter, I told you I had my bell rang 😂😂. The G6-01 is an elongated monocoque chassis, super interesting with all those gears and counter gears. A great bespoke part by Tom, simple but effective, along with your incredible engineering, with a little Arkwright (jer jer jiggle it) into place 😂😂. Genius at work! Enjoyed that session my friend. Best wishes, take care 😊😊
@@JF-RC Hi John, another project that has finally gone from concept to reality. I was thinking about this 4WD version when I was building my RWD Ford Capri. There are lots of Arkwright moments with this build which I have left in the videos while filming. Not everything goes to plan as you will see in future episodes 👍👍👍
Hey good stuff mate and love the look of the coloured gears and smoked clear case. Certainly be helpful to see if any water gets in there. Very ingenious way to make this 4WD. Best wishes mate 👍👍👍
@@PeteWylieRC Hi Pete, I did the old "Pete Wylie waterproofing trick" on the inside of both chassis parts so hopefully no water should find its way inside 👍 Not that I want to run it down the beach but I think the occasional puddle should be ok 👍👍👍 I was thinking about this conversion when I was building the Ford Capri chassis 🤘
@@scale_bnb Thanks Tom for your help with this project 👍 Without your help, I would have been stumped for what to use as a spacer. There is a little something whizzing it's way through the Post for you 🤘

@@MarkBryanRC Thankyou Mark, just another project that needs to be taken from concept to reality 👍
This looks so awesome. Maybe I'll do it too. Still scared because of my excessive use of white grease😂

Master Peter at it again.............. Great job my old friend, can't wait to see this done and the others you plan.
@@UncleBobsRC Hi Bob, lots more to come with this project and the other 2 as well. The Red Beetle is coming along nicely as well 🤔🤔🤔
