Thank you so much 🥺 she la very emotional translation "last smile": Feel your body Your whole being Who writhes smiling in pain Feel your time Drip to the heart From a room that banishes the word: tender Feel your faith Who shies away Every time you seem to understand Talk to me again If you fall asleep If it's your wish I can come with you Who condemns you? In whose name? But who is bent on blowing out your candles? Is that lying to you? Is this betraying you? If I invent a singing tomorrows for you Do you see the dark From this tunnel? Do you know the hope, when the light comes out? Your memory Will never cease To stir The knife in my wound😭
Ohlala !! Quelle chanson ! J’ai toujours du mal à l’écouter tellement elle me fait mal au coeur de tristesse 😞. Merci infiniment pour cette réaction. Et merci pour les sous-titres 👍
I have seen this video with translate in english... But I am not the owner of this video, you can find it if you tape last smile mylene farmer english words, just ask for Peter Ferrera permission just because he is doing very good work to translate Mylène Farmer videos :)
Cela parle d'amour,! Un être humain qui vas mourir et c'est son dernier moment !!, Mille mercis car j'ai pleuré avec cette chanson et même aujourd'hui !
The song is about his brother Jean-Loup Gautier, dead in october 1996 and about the death of his father (the song in 1989 was for his father, but in 1999, i think it was in memory of the 2 members of her family).
Feeling your body All your being Twisting smiling with pain Feeling your time Pounding into the heart Of a room that banishes the word: tender Feeling your faith Slipping away Whenever you seem to understand Speak-If you fall asleep If it is your wish I can accompany you Who condemns you? In whose name? But who keeps on blowing out your candles? Is it lying to you? Is it betraying you? If I invent a tomorrow that sings Do you see the dark From this tunnel? Do you know the hope, when the light springs? Your memory will never cease To rub the knife in my wound
One of her most emotional songs... dedicated to her dead father. Pas le temps de vivre is another very emotional song, from the same concert, dedicated to her younger brother, who died in 1996. Best wishes : Gerry
@@SandraSampsonColdfeet yes and many of her texts have autobiographical background... like one of her most successful songs : "Sans contrefacon", a song about androgynity... a girl that feels like being a boy.. in her childhood, Mylene was often considered to be a boy, since she had short brown hair and was also dressed as a boy in general. And she always played with typical boy toys, never with girl toys, like puppets, or things like that. I would recommend the 2009 live version of "Sans contrefacon" as your next Mylene reaction video.
What if you reacted to her 2008 song *C'est dans l'air* it's one of her catchiest song! First react to The song itself, then the 2009 live version !! Also, you should watch some of her music vidéo from 80's. This IS one of the other reason she became an icon. Her music vidéo are like short movies of more than 10 minutes You should watch *Sans contrefaçon* one of my favorite, but also because it's her more cult song that everyone knows in French country!
Myléne is a very sensitive woman who feels what she sings. I will not hand in the translation, several have. maybe but I'm not sure, is she talking about the death of her brother, still very young, which was a tragedy for her.
Thanks for your nice reaction. It’s difficult without understanding the lyrics. The text of the song evokes the last moments of a dying person. She is at the bedside of this dying person. Who ? Her farther maybe, her brother....
@@SandraSampsonColdfeet The song « pas le temps de vivre » is also very emotional and you will be able to realize even more the love of her fans. ruclips.net/video/Tx4RV6vpoqw/видео.html or with english lyrics ruclips.net/video/90fdZ6qzvkY/видео.html. I believe that she wrote it after the accidental death of her brother.
I think she wrote her song for her father first. Then in the 90's she decided to sing less sad songs and she was a happier person as she portrayed it on her 1995 album *Anamorphosée* and the 1996 tour. But right After the end of that tour , her brother died in a road accident. Her following album *Inamoramento* and the *Mylenium tour* are more sad than the previous album and tour and she probably choose to sing *Dernier Sourire* for her brother...
the title means "last smile". does it seem a song about the last smile of someone dying ? the lyrics are very sad, and Mylène and the fans seem very emotional... I don't know this song of her, do i misunderstood it ? The lyrics are actually about someone dying with pain (there's a smile of pain, a smirk described), but i don't get the second part (even in french, it's more elusive), if there's a clue of why he/she is dying. Mylene seems very affected while singing.
Hi sandra! it's good but why not MORE MUSIC VIDEOS, please? I already gave a link for the song " Désenchantée" (1991), her SMASH HIT in her career but without stopping all these lives, it becomes a bit painful for all reactors but it's not your fault! I'm fed up! Mylène isn't just LIVES but also M/V which built her LEGEND especially in 80's and 90's with Plus Grandir (1985), Libertine (1986), Tristana and Sans Contrfaçon (1987), Ainsi Soit Je... 1988 a beautiful ballad and Pourvu Qu'Elles Soient Douces, Sans Logique and A Quoi Je Sers... (1989). In 90's you have this " Désenchantée" ( Disenchanted), Regrets, Je T'Aime Mélancolie (1991)and Beyond My Control in 1992 (censored M/V) and in 1995 : XXL, L'Instant X, in 1996: California and Comme J'Ai Mal, etc... Thank you so much 🥺 she la very emotional
translation "last smile":
Feel your body
Your whole being
Who writhes smiling in pain
Feel your time
Drip to the heart
From a room that banishes the word: tender
Feel your faith
Who shies away
Every time you seem to understand
Talk to me again If you fall asleep
If it's your wish
I can come with you
Who condemns you?
In whose name?
But who is bent on blowing out your candles?
Is that lying to you?
Is this betraying you?
If I invent a singing tomorrows for you
Do you see the dark
From this tunnel?
Do you know the hope, when the light comes out?
Your memory
Will never cease
To stir
The knife in my wound😭
🥺 thank you so much .
