Great, honest, down-to-earth video. A rare find. Many reviewers are out there purposefully attempting to destroy the case and acting surprised when the case gets inevitably destroyed. As if the leather cases were a recerence for sturdiness and durability. They nevew were and that has always been the point: the patina effect is what has always been what was sought after by leather accessory buyers and I get Apple's approach in trying to develop a material that also changes over time... and most reviewers never were leather case people to begin with to take that into consideration in their reviews, let alone using the case as a normal buyer would in their tests. You used your case as a proper owner would: being somewhat careful and giving it cleaning maintenance every now and then so it keeps looking as good as possible. Once treated with respect and care, it seems to age rather well and even though differently, not at all that much worse than leather as many youtubers had us thinking. I've bought a finewoven wallet a little less than 2 months ago and so far it's looking ok. Not as good as the leather case I have on my 13 mini for a little over a year, surely, but the wear at the edges looks way better than I expected and is taking longer as well.
Wow, thanks for the comment. I did not think I would like the finewoven case but it’s still on my phone and I know if it looks dirty I can just clean it. So far no major cuts from drops. My leather cases had cuts from drops. Cheers
Try the tooth brush and the dish washing soap. Works perfectly for me. I’m using the taupe color too - in a tropical country. It ages quite well. The case has only 30g, it has the smallest size of all cases I tried and I’m enjoying how it feels in my hand. It has one issue only. It’s from Apple. That’s where all the negative comments are coming from.

Thanks I will try that.
