Life is too short for uncomfortable shoes, but it took me longer than you to realise it 😂. I'm of a similar mindset to you in terms of handbags and phones. But I'm afraid I couldn't do without my tumble dryer in the UK winters. I use it as sparingly as poss and its a condenser dryer not vented so it doesn't fog up the house.
Ooh condenser dryers are great, much more of a European thing though (the family I was an Au Pair for in Italy had one), not popular here. I’d definitely want a dryer if we were in a bigger house so we could fit it and had kids laundry to do too!

Oooh good idea, I'll definitely do that soon! And yea, it's been tough, the dehumidifier and heat pump help and we do go to the laundromat if it's lots of sheets & towels and dry them there. Can't wait for the rain to be over!
