There was really nothing to say about him. he immigrated from Iraq and said that he would’ve joined the military if he wouldn’t have been deaf. He gave a testimonial so really nothing to say as he’s not the topic of the video…

I would like to distract everyone from the warm fuzzy sentimentality of patriotism with a dose of reality. The US never had the guts or integrity to officially declare war against a country it bombed the s*** out of for 10 years. The Vietnam war was an Asian civil war in its basic form. The US had NO legitimate right or reason to be in Vietnam. Win...or lose which the US did, meant absolutely NOTHING for American security, safety, freedom and way of life. These guys allowed themselves to be sacrificial lambs for a US government that should have never sent them there....but they should have all known better. The only thing these people need to be "honored" for is that they dodged a bullet...both literally and figuratively in a situation they allowed themselves to be put in.

And…that’s not the topic of this video. We honor our military because they do what they are asked to do, they don’t get involved in politics, they don’t examine, they don’t dispute, they follow the orders of those appointed over them. The military is not perfect but they are there! There’s a nobility in that and if you can’t see that, nobody can make you!
