    It would be nice if there's was a list of the items mentioned. They could even have affiliate links to compensate the additional work ;)

    Great set up and explanation. I refer to my "E&E Kit" as a PSK (Personal Survival Kit) now since I'm out. The ones I mentor, I recommend a belt pouch of some sort, so when they reach camp or other rest area, they put that pouch on when they drop their pack (small "day pack/haversack" carried in main if extended trip) so they always have it on their person. After the USAF Vet and his 2 sons died during a "day hike" in MO in 2013, I updated my PSK to not only cover me but also 2 youth or a second adult with extra 55 gallon contractor bags and mylar blankets (or similar).

    This looks more like my 'Get-Out-Bag' than my EDC bag. I do carry some of these items EDC. My EDC is mostly first aid stuff. Generally around town I would need that more than whats in my GOB. However, this is a great vid and I can see some items I should carry. Thanks.

    Very nice and informative video and review and discussion about what you carry in an EDC bag. Just curious, would you not have some sort of FRS/GMRS type radio. I mean now days almost everyone has some sort of FRS/GMRS radio. Some of them have the ability to scan so if someone was looking for you and was communicating with others looking for you, you might pick them up on the radio. Also, some of those radios have weather channels built into them so you could keep up with the weather. I know it is about keeping it simple and as lite as possible, but having a way of communications I would think would be a good idea. I know almost everyone has a cellphone, but cellphone coverage is not 100% reliable in a lot of places. I have mine with me all the time and I know the area I hunt during our 2 week firearm season, we have no cellphone coverage. My son and I use radios to communicate to each other, but I use my cellphone for mapping using Avenza Map app. I download USGS topo maps of the area I am hunting before going. Again, thanks for sharing, I saw some things that has made me rethink my EDC bag that I carry daily.

      Yes sir, I do I have a mobile in the truck and a handheld that goes with me away from the truck. I did not have it in this video for a couple of reasons not worthy of mentioning. THanks for bringing up the radio though, they are very important.

    Craig, check the model of your Steamlight Sidewinder Light. Some models accept both CR123 as you mentioned, and AA.

      Do they have an adapter or something? I dont think, I can use a AA, but I guess I need to check

    Hi Craig, Where can I purchase your small survival tool and do you have an idea when LTWK will be releasing your new knife?

    • @NatureReliance
      @NatureReliance 3 месяца назад +1

      YOu can get the little tool off my website when we get them back in, should be in about 30 days or so. The new knife will be coming soon as well. Hard to say exactly. I met with the LTWK crew last week to get all of that off the ground and going strong. If you are not my email list, get on there on my website. I announce all projects there first. Thanks for asking.
