I worked for one of the 4 largest cryogenic manufacturers for 13+ years as a bulk service technician and installer back in the 90s and early 2000s- I loved this type of work, Chart (formerly MVE) made some of the very best bulk tanks, dewars, and vapes, hands down! I loved when I toured your bulk tank plant in Mn, and your plant in Ga where you built the trifecta!
Interesting to watch and brought back memories. My Air Force specialty was Cryogenic Fluids Production running a 5-ton per day production plant... high-pressure systems, dangerous equipment and only operated in locations where liquid O2 and N2 were not commercially available . Our Navy counterparts ran their plants on aircraft carriers.
What are your thoughts on the Artemis mission and cryogenic refueling in space? Will gravity be an issue? will the temperature differences from one side of the craft to the other cause issues?
Wow! A free class on Cryogenics which i can take over and over again thanks to the Genius medium the internet and RUclips. I am a new bulk delivery driver and I refer back to this video whenever I feel I'm forgettin the basics. thanks Chart Industries and RUclips.
@@SylentLight I trained with 2 year veteran for a month before they cut the embiblical cord on me. A year a four months later, I have learned how to make it easy on me better than my trainer did. Easiest driving gig I ever had and pays the most.
Ive been following this tech for a decade. Congrats to all of you who are futhering these advancements. I look forward to Cryonics moving to Australia and servicing the south Asian and Oceania region.... one day.
I wish i could have been shown a video like this when i started working for a company that delivered cryogenic products in bulk transports. Im retired now.
Just one can say the equilibrium vapour pressure is occurred when the rate of condensation of vapor is equal to the rate of evaporation of the liq molecules at the surface of the liq. So, colliding bet gas molecule and liq molecules may loss the energy of the gas and condense it, at the same time liq molecule of high energy vaporate
Volume of gas is not defined, any space available for the gas is its volume. But can specify the volume of the gas at definite T and P with volume of its liq at the same conditions.
I'm a chemical engineer working on cryogenic fuel for a plant.... And i actually realise how important this tank is for transportation of liquid oxygen lifeline of a patient..... engineering is for humanity and its betterment......
Hello, I don't understand the effect of heat flux on a cryogenic tank. I feel like evaporation will occur, causing a liquid level drop and a pressure rise to stay on the P-T equilibrium line, but at 3:20 you're saying the opposite (liquid level rise)... Can somebody explain that to me, please ? Thank you by advance and have a nice day

I am a cyro bulk driver and this video is a great help when training a new driver to understand what is happening when delivering.
Who do you drive for if you don’t mind me asking?
Nicely done, I am a mechanical engineering intern at a cryogenic firm and this was awesome!

How long it take you to learn all this and start loading/unloading by yourself?

Very nice. Complex knowledge in an easy way. Congratulations!
I am in sales and we are expanding sales into cryogenics. Watching this video has taught me so much in such little time about cryogenics. Thank you!
Hey Sam had a few questions about cryogenic market can we connect ?
@@kabirsahoch7108 I guess, though I'm no expert. What's up?
Thanks for your valuable info on cryo pressure vessels. I'm really happy and satisfied employee to work in Chart.

Thanks for this very nice video sharing
Thanks for the video, I started a career in cryogenics company
This was really great. Thanks.
Very useful explanations ! Thanks

I am thinking about making the switch to delivering cryo, and I agree that this video is amazing!

Very nice video, I am a cryotech for many years, semi retired now.
Very useful thank u
Awesome presentation. I will be leading a team of engineers in a cryogenic process. Needed this info
informative, easy & simple way to elaborate

Hello, I did not understand why the product to customer line has an loop, an trap on it and what is the DP = density X height? Thanks!
I'm not an engineer and I don't work with cryogenics, yet I watched this entire video. Utterly fascinating.
How are they going to have ambient air exchange in space?
Valuable video, Thanks #CHART_INDUSTRIES

Evaporation occurs at the boiling point, the level rises when the energy is increased but boiling point is not reached yet
