    You guys probably don't hear this quiet enough with this uninspired generation, but YOU GUYS ROCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The progress you're making in this area is so inspiring to those who are paying attention. I'm so excited for humanity's first asteroid walk.

      roleychiu how does testing an astro suit in water make it vacuum proof?

  • @markymark560
    @markymark560 8 лет назад

    Do they test the suits in a vacuum chamber? I would really like to see that as testing in water doesnt really compare to space conditions.

      @SMShannon55 8 лет назад +1

      Marky Mark they test them thousands of different ways, heat, cold, vacuum. The pool is for testing and training while wearing the suits similar to being weightless.

    I want to see an test of that suit in a vacuum.

      I didn't see your comment until I posted mine, so funny. I think everyone knows why NASA doesn't train "astronauts" in the vacuum chamber, but they do have a nice one they risk putting hardware into at the SPF. I want to see live training with citizens specating from beginning to end.

    It works well in a swimming pool, but let's see how well it does in the vacuum chamber.

    First time I have seen an in-pool astronaut-interview from the Neutral Buoyancy Lab.

    Very nice interview. Thank you NASA for sharing the future. For the children of today their reality as adults will be Mars and the Asteroid belt! I wish we could travel in a beam of light to reach Mars in a few minutes. Keep working hard fellows.
