- Maryland's former Republican governor, Larry Hogan, who has been backed by former President Donald Trump in the race for U.S. Senate, tells "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan" that he isn't backing the former president in the 2024 race. "Neither one of the two candidates has earned my vote, and the voters in the country are going to be able to make that decision," he said.

If you don't vote for either candidate this means you are more concern about your political career than the good of the nation. And the filibuster must go. So it seems to me you may stand up to either president but why can't you stand up with one? Clearly, Kamala is the president we need at this moment. We must have the courage to lay our reputation aside and vote for the good of the nation, and clearly, that vote should be cast for Kamala, that's my decision and I'm not concerned about what people think about.

The filibuster is abused and needs to be reformed, but eliminating the filibuster is a bad idea. It will mark the end of any stability in governance in the United States. Whatever one party passes, the other will undo and go to the other extreme in the next 4 years when they likely gain power again.
He's a voter. He's not going to not vote. Half of his base is m a g a. He's in transition here. He's probably a good Republican politician. I haven't looked at his record. But we do need a two party system, so they say. George Washington would disagree.
