Thank you for this informative video. Just a quick question: for Azure Databricks, what's the physical storage for DBFS? Is it Azure Data Lake Storage Account which is managed by Azure Databricks?
Hi, Your video is great ! One question: when tou open the "Data" part, you then click on "DBFS" button to access the folders. Do you know why I do not have this button?
What are the best ways to upload the dataset from local to Databricks with files larger than 8 Gb? My organization doesn’t let me use access tokens so can’t upload from cmd
Managed - Databricks manages both the metadata and the data for a managed table; when you drop a table, you also delete the underlying data. And No need to define location for the Data table UnManaged - Databricks only manages the metadata for unmanaged (external) tables; when you drop a table, you do not affect the underlying data. Always define the location
@@cloudfitness I am trying to create Folder and upload all my files there. But due to some reason DBFS not allowing me to create the folder. Do you know what should I do here? How do I create the folder in DBFS/filestore/tables
Nice explanation and very helpful…Thank you

Difference Managed vs Unmanaged Tables
Managed - Databricks manages both the metadata and the data for a managed table; when you drop a table, you also delete the underlying data. And No need to define location for the Data table
UnManaged - Databricks only manages the metadata for unmanaged (external) tables; when you drop a table, you do not affect the underlying data. Always define the location
