I agree with your micro analysis of the current bull cycle. However, I forecast that BTC should now increase and make a final all-time high in the $78,000 range, give or take a few thousand dollars. At this level, the current bull cycle will be exhausted, and a larger retracement should be expected beyond what you have determined. You don't seem to be considering the macro formation of the entire Bitcoin structure. Performing a proper and indepth analysis of the macro wave structure will show that Bitcoin is approaching and very near to establishing a super cycle wave 1. Which typically retraces at least 50% but by as much as 85%. It would be prudent to consider and prepare for the worst in your trading strategy.
Reminder…. if you can't handle a 20% dip after a 300%+ run up, then you are in the wrong space.

@@mikeg8233 If you are invested in just BTC I would honestly just hold if I were you. It's clear this asset is here to stay and will continue to grow for many years to come. Volatility is going to overtime decrease less and less, last cycle it went from in the 60k range to absolute bottom around 17k, basically crashed by 75%. This cycle it might "only" crash by say 50-60% from it's high, so it could be something where we peak at 150k and tank to maybe 60k. However, if you are invested in alts and see a massive return from your entry, like anything 8x+, you'd be a fool to hold. Most alts fade into oblivion and never reach new highs. I can't imagine say investing 5k into an alt and seeing it worth 50k and NOT sell. If you have a relatively small amount though, like anything in the low 5 figure range or lower, I wouldn't even bother.

I have some ranges lows from gann box in the 62-63k range and also some macro trendlines at 60k if it falls further. If you measure the previous 2 cycles retracement percentages the dips are not as deep.

Curious if because of the high demand for the ETF and they are supposedly running low on supply, are they strategically buying up more BTC...but not too much so that the price doesn't spike but will essentially keep the price higher during the re-accumulation & retrace phases?
No because we’re flat out dumping, emotions and fear are playing in this
at the end of the day, whether it correct 20%, 0% or 40%, it doesnt even matter - it is a rounding error. Inevitably, it will continue to go up exponentially, so why bother worrying about whether it is going to rain tomorrow or not?

I wonder if we get a wild pump leading up to the halving. Maybe not, but Litecoin pumped into its halving, and Bitcoin Cash has been pumping into its halving. It just seems like a trend, even with pre-halving retrace being a possibility.
For this you need to know what the supply was, what the demand was at previous dips. Also in relation to the marketcap. Were people fearful ? Was there a story for the crash? Enz enz

Around 30-40% retracement is more likely. This is the first time into a halving with ETFS and these big guys can dump hard after mass accumulation in the tens of billions

In 2016, BTC topped 4 weeks before the Halving and bottomed 4 weeks after it

Good point made... this prolongued period of a pull Back will also take the top of this whole market cycle way into 2025. Good for anyone with a year period of holdings before getting rid of taxes...

Trading bots in Asia, GrayScale dump and federal seizure dump all combined to crash bitcoin.
Great analysis. Top shelf. I buy small amounts of bitcoin every time we have a good dip down. I thought I was late to the party when we got our first coin at $26k - $28k range. Final entry after adding more over the last half a year or so is $31k... After the 2024 halving we will never drop below or touch January 2024's low of $38,505 again. This is generational wealth in the making. Thankful to God.

It's a re-accumulation range. Price will pump and dump within it, that's how ranges work.

I feel that the last bull run was bolstered by all the money being printed. Major returns next bull run but I think they will be tamer in my humble opinion. A 10x on AMSCR11 is and a 15x on polygon are fair considering how much those two coins are interwoven into the entire crypto ecosystem

I recommend you keep a journal of your emotions/analysis. If you observe you're consistently correct you can stop watching rekt and trade your gut
