They really still are. The only thing is that, Craig doesn’t join OLR, he fly the club race which is tougher in my own opinion because they release them up to 600 miles.
Birds nowadays become popular because of the OLR and too much advertisements. What many people forget is the root of most of all strains… The Janssen

Janssens birds were all crosses haha it is the truth if you know the history the these birds, the Merxcks & 019 line were down from Victor Fabry's, The Witoog(white eyes) line was from Luis Van Loon and the Red Fox(Vos) line was a pigeon which was on loan from a mailman to the Janssens' which whom only kept the Sion pigeons. There is NOT a so call Pure blood line in racing period. Also the Mexico Janssen from M Jemal had a Valeer De Smet-Matthys line in it, very sorry to bursting your bubbles here dude.

Never claimed they were PURE for the Janssens line. Only that they have been maintained pure from the Piet De weird selection. (Since the late 1960s)
