Without Black66 this things would just be plain ol minibikes he shows us how to juice them up so we have the perfect lil getaway vehicle @RodneyPittman-mf8ec
That's a cool piece! I have a cast flywheel on my 224 too, but I thought they had 28° of timing built into them? Thanks again for your kickass videos👍👍
Always the best most informative entertaining content, you have no clue how much your videos have helped me get back into the hobby, keep up the awesome work!!
Always great content. Not a dull moment for any small motor enthusiast. This will be my hobby when I retire. I’ll be 50 this year 15 years to go!😀 Keep up the great videos man!
Cooking up them streets 💪🏼💯💨💨💨💨💨 ima get one for my pvL on my ducar that was the quickest results I seen yet man shout out to Paul's carts coming thru wit a Gamechanger who wouldve thought 🤔
Oh and it turns out the 08-12’ ninja 250 swing arm fits my bike. So the plan to cut and weld my stock swing arm is off. I’m going from 14” of poorly bent Chinese steel to 21.5” of nicely shaped Japanese steel. I about lost my mind when I came across it on accident and seen that not only was it the same pivot dimensions but it looks exactly like mine..just 7” longer. I officially have the most Frankenstein bike. CNC billet DRZ400 triple, 29” aftermarket shocks, ninja rear swing with everything that attaches to that from the same bike, dual rear RFY shocks custom weld mounted to said swing arm and more coming as I weld in supports to the frame and make a spot for a large 2 gal spun aluminum tank on the bike frame.
Was going to buy it for $50 after this video but not for $17 bucks for shipping plus tax. I’ll stay with the 18 degree timing. But as always Great video !
Great video! I'm kind of interested to see how those cast aluminum flywheels work at 32*, I've had people tell me that anything beyond 28* is to much for them because the magnets are too weak. I have several but am unsure about where I should be shooting for. Can you please test one at 32* and see if it loses performance? Thanks for the videos 😎👍
As usual, Great job on the video! After the timing bump, the exhaust note sounded much smoother on the top speed run to me. It would be interesting to see if this engine combo would benefit from some additional advance.
@black66 I need your help ASAP what's the size of the fuel line for the 212cc predator motor to the gas tank to the vm22 carb let me know as soon as possible thank you.
Also I wanted to tell you that iv come to new ideas for bike builds. I’m highly considering maybe already planning on buying a 250cc 4 stroke 5 speed and getting a huge big bore kit for it that takes it to 350cc… it will fit my bike all I have to do is weld in some tabs to run bolts through for the engine mounts.. the cool thing with those engines is you don’t actually have to bore anything you just replace the jugg and piston and the block and rod stay the same. I’m actually pretty jacked about it. $350 for the 250 5 speed and then $300 for the big bore kit and I seriously would have done this first before spending the amount of money Iv spent on Honda clone engine mods
How does adjusting the coil change the timing of the flywheel if the flywheel positioning never moves? Is it because the position of the coil moves down thus reading quicker giving the same effect that the flywheel has moved?
Because the ignition timing relies in when the magnet passes by the coil. The flywheel doesn't have to move. So moving the coil instead has it catch the magnet sooner or later just like an advance or retard key would.
I have literally been thinking about this for a while. Why isn't anyone making a coil mount that moves?????? But I'm also not hip to all the parts people and racing mods that are out there. So there may be a lot I'm missing lol 😅
What am I missing here? $99 is steep. I think a few timing keys would do the job, or a timing wheel and no keys. Nice unit to be able to adjust on the fly but pricey for the poors.
So I have a CT 200 you I have a 42 rear sprocket torque converter with the juggernaut clutch hot 265 Cam with 22 pound valve springs. I can only get this thing to 48 miles an hour. What am I missing here?
Its hard to diagnose a bike without the bike being right in front of me but If you are a heavier rider the small rear sprocket might not be the best. It might not be letting the engine and cam get into its optimal RPM band. Check out this video. The bike isn't running a torque converter in the video but its the same idea.ruclips.net/video/avdJE34nFIU/видео.html
We purchased an FRP minimoto 49 cc Pocket bike. My neighbor pulled the pull start to hard. It snatched back so hard I took the flywheel off put the woodruff key In put it back together. Ranked right up ran for about 5 minutes sittin on my bench. It just shut off now it won’t pull start at all
isn't the factory timing around 24 degrees? And was that a PVL flywheel? don't they have 28 degrees? I'm sure that's what I read when I brought one, I have left mine at 28 degrees because I have an 11:1 compression & only going up to 7500rpm (Dyno Cams CM grind)
So now the question arises, what does it do for a bike with a 34 degree ARC…🤔 can I retard my timing? Or maybe just advance it further? Cool deal though. Definitely handy if you don’t want to tear the engine down and mod it to death like we like to do
I think you are the best minibike mechanic in the world
Thanks! The best minibike mechanic is the mini bike expert. He is on the channel from time to time...

Thanks! Thanks for watching the videos !
Really useful running nitro I bet.
Paul made these a while ago(few years?), nice to see people finding them.
Have noticed them popping up lately.
Nice and informative video! Paul's Kart should hook you up for the plug! 😂
I fabbed up one of these about a year ago.
One of the better mods I've done
Have you tried those CDI kits where you have to have a battery like a 12 V drill battery.
How far you gonna get with no charging system and your ignition is drawing on the battery 5-7000 times a minute?
Iv always said we needed something like this

All of puals stuff is next level stuff
Thank you for making this video that flywheel is a good budget flywheel just needs a advance timing key
That’s nice I may have to try one out
Simply amazingly awesome!

You can always add a timing key to advance the timing
Keep em coming! Great vids!

Yeah for sure ! It did sound better with the bump in timing .

Nice
Wonder just how much timing one of these small engines could take???
That bums me out if it only has 18° built into it? So the hondas that comw off of only have that much timing?
Could u do a mini bike with a predator 420 motor

On the billet Animal engine it has it on the block
Pauls karts is top of the line ,he does a 300 cc small block that is outrageous 40 hp on gas

Seemed like it pulled better from 30-50mph too than stock timing
So is that with a stock keyway?
I need to know which exhaust or muffler would be best for my predator 212, I want the best and the fastest
how does a fly wheel key determine any timing?
Check out this ignition timing flywheel key video.ruclips.net/video/LdCFwhQ6ECM/видео.html
@Black66 how will it work with the ghost?
Yes it will but you also need to replace the ghost flywheel to go along with the hot coil in the kit . This will get rid of the Ghost rev limiter.

No this isnt a PVL
Hey what state do you live in, wish I was there it’s to cold where I am
Arizona
Shimmy shimmy ya.
Bro told you they be in the streets on the minibikes doing 100😂😂😂
If I ride twice in one day and do 50 MPG each time and add them together ,that is 100! 👍😀
@@Black66 😭😭😭😭😭😭💯
$150 on eBay. Kinda pricey. I’ll play with flywheel keys.
That's definitely the way to go to move the coil and not f***around with the flywheel
Yes, this set up makes timing adjustment super easy!
are you using a key?
No the coil gets adjustment leave the fly wheel on with a the stock key

Mod it then advance the timing
sounds a little lean
Not the biggest difference
Can I get one for free😢😢
