I've been trying to get the Lake Spirits to work and honestly the surprise factor is getting me wins. I have 2 Mewtwo, 1 of each spirit, and 2 lines of Ralts/Gardevoir, plus 2 commmunications cards and 2 Dawn. Not bad at all.
Cooking up? hahaha. My good ol Marowak deck (with primeape, marshadow, lee) suddenly become strong with this stalling decks (ie. druds, dialga, manaphy, giratina), and just got improved due to communication and cyrus. Even with no Lucario, this deck rocks.
Machamp EX + Lucario is nuts. Gallade Luca is bait, your basics do nothing. I've won games with Machoke hitting for 70-90 damage and only giving up a point, without even needing Machamp, which you get much more consistently now thanks to communication
Yea, i played a deck like this since set 1. Called it my "switch" deck. But in the early sets it was electrode and starmie ex, then islands was starmie lumineon. Im glad to see the quick switch continuing.
I like what you cooked here. The one issue with the bird here is both the bird start and the monkey start prefer going first, whereas Moltress prefers going 2nd but the occasional monkey aggro opener is great going first.
I've been using this deck for 2 days now. It's surprisingly consistent. Other than horrendous draws or a Misty 3 coin flip, this deck always has a chance.
Tbh i like the idea a lot but the thing that puts Moltres + Ape being better imo is that u get more value from pokèmon communication(also Moltres is harder to kill)
What would you think about trying this with Luxray? Similar to this but doesn’t get up 2 points from ex. Also volkner to possibly hit twice? Looks like a good deck either way
@ true but it’s also an extra energy to attack. The new electrode might be good too since it attacks for one and the energy discarded by the retreat cost can be used by volkner? Many ways to play with this idea of free retreat looping. Starmie ex and lumineon do it well too. Probably better now with manaphy and Dawn
I would prefer using salazzle, poisoning enemies has so much value for infernape, so that he can the 150 threshold and counters potions and cloaks. also poisoning Pokemon synergies really well with Cyrus
Yesterday I had the idea of using dorio and infernape cause moltres' energy stack doesn't reeeaaaallly benefit infernape (although if you use dawn and have another moltres on bench as an "energy bank" it works pretty well) ...if only I had infernape 🤣
The sooner these videos come out the better for the people who can't get all the cards. Let's us know exactly which cards we want to target more. Before we open a bunch of packs . He doesn't expect u to make the deck from every video he drops. Just sometimes if u like the deck alot
@ Anyone with a third grade reading comprehension should know what deck they want to make and target those packs right away. I spent over 500 hourglasses with 2 EX pulls lmfao. This game doesn't cater to normal people who don't spend money
@A7X55forever ok so your obv just salty about not that good of pack pulls don't take it out on the video bro. Not everyone wants to read every single card in the new sets. Also theory crafting across a set of almost 150 cards being added to an already existing almost 300 isn't that easily done for everyone not everyone plays this game or card games in general that much might not understand the dynamics as well. But seeing this deck put together in front of them could easily inspire them to strive to get these cards.

skarmory requires colourless energy and only requires 1 energy to potentially hit for 50 if you have an item on him. I use cape so he has 100 health and can hit for 50 on turn 2. I just like to use random decks to keep my interest in the game

I've been trying a druddegon, centascortch and magnezone deck with 2 dawn's and the old magnezone/magneton with 1 of the new evo
