"BE ELITE" - Official Elite Academic School Anthem!

deriknelson.com | I've had the honor of partnering with an incredible Southern California charter school-Elite Academic Academy-to teach an online songwriting & creative music workshop. By sharing my unique methods of songwriting, I've helped students overcome writer's block, build their confidence, and create their own original song in less than 10 days.
This special music video is the result of a song we wrote as a group, highlighting the importance of collaboration. When I asked the students what our song topic should be, they chose the challenge of creating our school anthem.
After completing the song, we invited the whole school to participate in the making of this music video. I received over 100 video submissions from students, teachers, staff members, and families that I compiled to create this video. Thank you to Elite Academic and the amazing participants of this video for making this project possible!
