"Exchange Our World" - a Virtual Music Collaboration

I proudly partnered with the U.S. Embassy in Switzerland & Liechtenstein to lead a virtual songwriting workshop for 16 Swiss & Liechtensteiner participants. In addition to each student completing their own individual song from start to finish in just 5 days, my program also focused on collaboration-we wrote this song together as a group about the positive impact of connection and cultural exchange in a virtual space.

After we finished our final songwriting session together, I asked each participant to send me a video of themselves contributing something to the song (singing, dancing, playing an instrument, etc). I edited, assembled, and produced all of the videos I received into what you see and hear now. The result? An incredible testament to "breaking down the barriers" that this year has thrown at us, and proving that "we don't have to be in the same room to be together."
