1. Cautery artefacts indicate vascularity and bleeding during surgery.
2. Rosenthal fibres purplish pink.
3. Seen as gial reaction in non neoplastic brain parenchyma adjacent to slow growing tumors like craniopharingioma.
4. Seen in genetic conditions like Alexander syndrome, profusely.
5. Pilocytic astrocytoma have variety of appearances, compact fibrillary to loose microcystic
Hemangioblastoma, meningioma, craniopharyngioma are examples of such slow growing tumors
