My Hacker Doxed Me...if you remember this, you're an absolute legend! It all started from a simple comment that said my Twitter was hacked. A video and a few laughs later, I'm standing outside the police station, telling the mean cop that I don't want to get swatted after getting doxed. Luckily, the guy that hacked me wasn't too bad of a dude as he gave all my stuff back and apologized. Guess I had to be an example after some data breach.
On January 17, 2023, I received a comment from someone who said that my Twitter account is probably hacked. The profile picture and name was replaced by Elon Musk. After checking it out, I realized it was hacked, and I was kicked out of my own account. So the same day, I made a video telling people to just unfollow the account and that I'll make a new one. In that video, I was also making fun of the hacker of that account. When the hacker watched the video, it went from one hacked problem to ten. My gamertags were getting hacked, and the hacker started posing as me, and tweeting racial things on my hacked Twitter account.
Eventually that same night, the hacker doxed me. As if all the said problems weren't enough. It was like as if Germany attacked the USSR, and the USSR fought back. Endlessly and hard. My hacker fought endlessly and hard. He started doxing all my old emails and passwords. He then found some of my troll Facebook accounts because I'm an idiot, and doxed me with those. All this doxing drama went on for a few hours but ended as soon as my hacker reached out to me and we talked, like reasonable people. Lol.
During the dox, I went to the police station to try to prevent a possible swatting. Since I was doxed, I could've been swatted by my hacker or anyone else really. The cop on duty did not know what swatting meant. He did not like me either. He probably thought I was some drunk teenager and he just wanted to get killed by a rock out of boredom. Whatever he thought, the cop was not helpful at all and basically told me to get swatted, then COME BACK to file a police report. The dumbest thing a cop ever said to me. So I went back home and started securing all my accounts.
My roommate was freaking out, thinking that we're about to get swatted, he was trying to find anything that the cops might use against him, like posters of a video game that had guns on it. It was wild. Better safe than sorry. As I was securing my accounts and all that, the hacker texted me on my phone. After some talking, he gave all my accounts back and apologized for the shitstorm. Pretty chill dude, besides me getting doxed. Lol.

The way you got hacked is because you probably got a sponsor and you opened up a a folder and it’s very common. They send it out to a lot of RUclipsrs once you open it it runs a power shell script on your computer and that steals your Google cookies . You click on a phishing link by the way, they probably sent you a PDF reader happen to Linus tech tips

Yeah I actually do remember someone hacking my Xbox last year. Strangely though they didn’t try changing my passwords or anything. They just signed in and done nothing else lol

This is interesting, considering this happened a year ago, I can tell it was pretty stressful going through all of your accounts to make sure nobody gets into them. You did the right thing and it's your choice to make if you wanted to show your face, that's fine with me if you don't want to, I know it's because of privacy reasons and such

Doxxing is so lame. Sum kid that me and my cousin thought was a friend doxxed him and me and I honestly couldve doxxed him too due to his fathers full legal name being on his profile but never did it because 1 im not trying to go to jail and I also believe in forgiveness but he scared my cousin and aunt pretty bad so maybe a few years in prison would be worth it

Imma be honest some random kid kinda tried to hack my email and Roblox account a while ago he ended up getting my Roblox (kinda didn’t have much security on it at the point) I ended waiting a week to get it back after about 10+ calls and 5+ emails to support and they finally changed my email back and gave me the account funny thing is he didn’t use a vpn so he kinda got caught and ip banned from rblx it’s just that most hackers go after u just because they don’t have a life most of em are lil kids mad about losing a 1v1 or are just 30+ and sell gamertags/accounts on eBay morale of the story is they just don’t have a life tbh
lesson learned never use the same passwords also Microsoft added where you can have a Passwordless account so if you turn that on Microsoft will remove your password which prevents hackers from taking your Xbox account and they have 2FA as well so turn both of those on and you're good 👍🏻

Bro, Facebook has the same problem as Twitter. Facebook also has Only fans girls who are simping at other people and also stealing your info like your Gmail or your credit/debit card numbers. I've gone through the same problem around December of 2023. After Christmas. The weird ol lady told me that she loves me and wanted to give her some gifts. Bro, I'm a frickin 17 year old male teenager. And that woman is probably in her 20s. I'm an underage dude. I used to be an simp before, but not anymore because I'm not like that and I'm trying to being a regular human being who don't simp for onlyfan woman. Actually, unfortunately there is no federal law on doxxing someone and most states don't have any kinds of laws regarding it either

@johnmcconnell7052 Highly unlikely. The issue with doxxing is most of the information sharer is actually public information. Your name and address aren't private information so there's no crime technically being committed there. Had they shared credit card information, social security number etc there'd be enough for a crime. I'm not defending doxxing and there should be some legality involved but unfortunately there isn't. Most of your rights don't apply when you're on the internet.
