I'm so glad to see you using the avata more now. You've definitely improved so much. i would love to get the avatar, but i wouldn't know how much it would get used. I wish i knew someone with one to try to see if i would enjoy it. Great video as usual Marcus look forward to see some more videos with the avatar 😁👍👌 🇬🇧
Holy cow! If I was doing that I would be so nauseous! I guess I'm spoiled having the DJI camera gimbal take out all the side to side, and fore and aft motion of the drone. It is neat to watch you do that, but it is definitely not for me. I don't think I would be able to drive home after flying like that. Thanks for taking one for the team, Marcus!
Nice demo of the head tracking feature of the Avata. I have never tried, and really not interested in it, seems a lot like headless mode on my older camera drones. I never found a need for that either. I don't fly the Avata enough to get the practice in that would be required get good at heading tracking. Great video, and thanks for sharing.
Marcus, great flying with head tracking. I noticed you didn’t look down; I’m anxious to see you practice and more till we see you flying with head tracking and flying through gaps, especially the stairs/ramps at the school. You could become an expert at head tracking while flying through gaps, with enough practice. One other comment, let’s see you jumping the dirt ramp on your electric bike, you could set up multiple drones and jump them, Evil Knieval style, LOL.😊
Hi Marcus. I have a question about the Air 3. Why is it that when I fly and record an 8 minute clip or a long clip that when I get it into my computer, the clip gets segmented into 2 videos? I'm not an editor and don't care to be. I want to be able to watch my flights in one video. Not Two. Please help
DJI limits the file size to 4GB for both Fat32 and ExFat formatting. Now is the time to learn how to edit. Putting two files together is quite easy. Pick an editor and check out some tutorials on RUclips. Have fun! 🙂
It's a files size limitation you have to live with when recording from these devices, be it the drone or from the googles. But not to worry - just download your video files from the MicroSD card on to your computer. Then use your favorite video editor (I use DaVinci Resolve - FREE) and import as many video files into your editor as you want. Edit out the boring stuff and export as a single video! Have fun!
You Avata guys are a special breed. The noise and goggles are not for me. I don’t even like to use headphones or earbuds as I feel claustrophobic. I am also confused about what the FAA rules are for flying with goggles. Take care, bud.
That's definitely something that would take practice. Well done ! Thank you for sharing Marcus !
Thank you Bill! It made me a little dizzy! 😵
This seems like video game controls, strafing, I want one! This looks so cool. I have a mini2 se, but I want this too. Thank you for the video.
It's a lot of fun. 👍 Thank you Ryan!
Makes ya head spin..that makes me dizzy. Great video Marcus.
It sure does Chris! 😵
Great video lets get that bird in the air
Darn right! 🙂🙂

Thanks for the video Marcus. Looks like the Avata is a lot of fun but not as easy as it seems.😮 Still thinking of getting one those!
It's a whole different kind of flying Julio! 😎

I agree Ron. I don't fly the drone enough to be proficient.
Es como andar en bicicleta, práctica, práctica y alguna caída😃😃😃
Ha! yes, I need much more practice!! 🤣
Hey Marcus ! That's so cool. Great job my friend. I may have to try fpv again one of these days. Hope all is well !
Thank you Dman! Yeah, the Avata is a whole different beast!

Ha! My jumping anything days are long over with Mike!! 😄😂🤣
Okey dokey!!! 😂 Glad you are venturing into Head Tracking 👏🏻👏🏻. MC1 you’d need head tracking (my set up). No option to achieve that without the mc2.
Are you ready for the Avata 2 Jackie? 😎
@@IdahoQuadcopter still utterly in love with Puggles 😍
I need to practice more, when the weather pics up.
Great flying, low and fast.
hahah
It does take practice! 😄
Good video Marcus.
It is absolutely my pleasure! Thank you!
Cool video!!
Thank you Ryan!
Is there any practical use for doing this. I am kind of old and I am wondering what advantages this technique brings to the table.
It allows you to point the camera away from the direction of travel. It's worth trying John.
Thanks for responding, I knew I was missing something@@IdahoQuadcopter
You was doing good Marcus..
Thank you! It was fun to try!
How can I record telemetry on Goggles2? Thanks
There is a setting in the app. 👍
@@IdahoQuadcopter I found it, thanks😉
Really cool
Thank you! It was a bit of an experiment. 👍

@@IdahoQuadcopter thanx Marcus. I enjoy your content. Can't wait to see your Florida videos

Hey Marcus! 👈🤓👉 That's using your head! Thank you. Cheers, Brendan
Ha! I was banging my head against the wall by the time I was done. 🙂
Is this the new Avata 2 perhaps? 👀
Shhhhhhhh!
Can the head tracking be used for the motion controller 1?
I'm not sure. You may want to ask DJI Support.

Thank you, George! It is a different experience!
I have the avatar,I do not like head tracking.i am old school and happy that way 😊 .
I understand. 🙂
Does Jackie have a RUclips channel?
She sure does. www.youtube.com/@BaqPaqJaq
Head tracking is not for me! Praying for some decent weather to try to fly my Avata in manual mode! The Avata 2 is calling your name Marcus!
I'm a hard corp camera drone guy John! 🤣
@@IdahoQuadcopter ha ha me too! I’m just an FPV wanna be!😂
Its not for me Marcus I am super happy flying it normally
I'm with you on that one Steve!!
I've never tried head tracking, seems confusing. 😂
It is Joe! I think I'm going to sell this drone! 🤣
