Very well-done. I like the use of the variety of tools that reduces the amount of work with fingers and thumbs, but provides better shape and surface consistency.
I prefer throwing pottery, at windows, cars, people ect. I think it's a myth because every time I throw pottery I never get a mug or a vase, just very very angry people? Anyone else have this issue? All kidding aside, I enjoy making pitch pots more than throwing on the wheel, it's something you can do watching T.V. and not with the problem of having to make a huge mess to clean.

Hi Ginger, that's not a dumb question at all. It's a piece of MDF. A piece of plywood would be fine. I hope that helps.
