    When he won mvp I told myself when Kobe Bryant was going to retire Derrick Rose was my going to be my favorite player but then the injuries happened. He’s a russel Westbrook but with a shot and just better control with his speed he didn’t need to dunk he would do crazy lay ups

      Chris Paul is a better pg hands down. Look at how he's finding his teammates off the pick n rolls threading the needle.. rose a better one on one player of course. And its really a toss up if he is better than cp3 one on one cuz cp3 plays intense D once acclamated and locked in.

    One thing i noticed is how D. rose only got one or two baskets on CP3 the whole game. If anything, I think this video highlights how good CP3 is as an individual defender at the PG position. Even when Rose scored of pick and rolls, Chris Paul still made the right read every time, D rose is just too good for the help. On the flip side, most of CP3 isolation buckets were netted in D Rose's grill. Not a knock on D Rose, just an analysis on a matchup between two great players.

      No it was gonna eventually happen, with the way he was landing. Unlike Westbrook, Rose lands one footed, flat footed. Puts unnecessary pressure on your knees and slowly wears down the tendon and burns cartilage.

      I imagine landing that way since his youth, that’s why they gave out at such a young age. He said it himself, “I was out of control, going 100 MPH all the time.” Medical advances were not as sophisticated 6,7,8 years ago as now, so it’s a recent discovery.
