Hi y'all! I have an extremely satisfying deep cleaning video for you today at my new house. I am working on my Outside Living Spaces! I have some fun house updates we did. We did a timelapse of cleaning my extremely nasty inground pool. We also did timelapse the pool liner change out. The DIY pool liner installation was the craziest experience yet. These areas needed some serious help! So much nasty and neglected areas to deep clean before I can renovate and decorate. So Much Motivation! The entire house is seriously dusty, greasy, and needs a lot of satisfying deep cleaning. I hope you find this video super motivating! I am so so excited to finally be moved in to the new house.. Even though it difficult time buying a house during the covid-19 pandemic (coronavirus), we are looking at the bright side and moving houses as safely as possible. I legit just learned they make pools with liners like this. Every in ground pool I've ever been in was poured cement with sealant painted on.

@@jfpiv the more you know. I was wondering why I've never seen pools like these here in Brazil. Here is hot af. For cheaper option we have Fiberglass pools. But most are tiled. 🌝
Very common in North America and a more cheaper solution than concrete or gunite style pools. I have a 14x28 inground vinyl liner with concrete floor and the liner is still holding up well nearly 30 years later even in these freezing Canadian winters

Yeah it's different everywhere
Jessie At Home my family owns a pool company. It is preference as too what type you get. There are 3 main types, fiberglass shell, vinyl liner, and gunite. They all have their pros and cons. Fiberglass are cheap and quick to build but only last 5-15 years. Vinyl liner pools are smooth, colorful, and you can change the look when you want. Gunite lasts the longest but is the most expensive.

No not a death wish. Pool lights are meant to be under water ... so make sure the breaker is off and install away.
Electricity was turned off. Notice in the video when it was completed it was turned back on.

Exactly!! it was a breeze to take care of this summer. It really takes care of it's self. Daily scoop out any debris, check water balance, weekly vacuum for us. easy easy to have a relaxing pool to float in all summer!

Its a sunshirt. It blocks him from getting sunburn and is cooling fabric so he was the least sweaty of us all haha. He is very fair skinned and hates the sun with a fiery passion . Hence the goofy hat and long shirt.
People that work outside like in Florida all wear long sleeves...Specially those that do yard work 😋

Come over and have one sunny florida day on your skin, darling. It took me hour and half first time i moved here to get sun poisoning, my face skin fell off in one day after...to have face and shoulders back covered with skin again took me 2 months... about 1 year to look like I used to... my doctor was amazing to save my face without scaring, thank to his wisdom and fast actions...now I pay hundreds of dollars for workout clothes (ones with UV factor 50) and yes long sleeve covering up to your fingers if you have fair skin, and it really takes alot to still look cool and hot while matching hat on the top... I wish upon nobody anything like that and only those who lived it understand. 3 years later my neighbour Trini neighbour got same result, in her case dark hair, olive skin thank to all day long party on the beach... she said that never happened to her in 30 years in Trinidad. Lesson learned💜💙💚

I did one similar to this for my parents when they bought a bank foreclosure home to flip. The original homeowner lost it to the bank so they threw all their potted plants, bagged soil and freezer contents in the pool. Along with a couch and minifridge. Once I got the solid items out there were 50+ buckets of earth. The main drain was clogged with dirt and all the plumbing was cut off at the ground. Wish I had video.

That is unfortunate. Renting has become ridiculous. We rented in between selling our first and buying our second home (my previous house to the one we are in now). It had cost more to rent that 3bed 3rd floor no elevator apartment than it did for single mortgage on any of my houses. It's insane.

Probably double what we ended up paying for everything. We did pay my brother because he deserved it 100% but he gave us a deep discount. Pool companies didn't want to touch it.

We had this type of pool, it was lined with this and the key to correctly make it through winter is to NOT drain all the water, I repeat DO NOT DRAIN ALL WATER!!! Just under the skimmer/filter intake and any sort of inlet/outlet that leads into pipes! The water in the soil will push against it and the liner WILL collapse.
Yep exactly. Winterize the plumbing the water level is what keeps it all together.

Yeah they did it too fast for me to catch it on camera. It's the same as the other trim. Screw on the trim pieces and cut away the excess liner.

That was neat to watch. I had always thought that all in ground pools were concrete.
I'm mid Atlantic and a lot of residential ingrounds are liners although the fiberglass inserts are getting more common.
Me too quiet interesting to see but in australia its all tiles or concrete.
@@jodibrazel3919 fibreglass inserts are more common here (Australia) because they're cheaper - the tiled ones are trendy for inner-city plunge pools though

We redid my sisters pool in July. Was a weekend project and turned out great! I watched videos to figure it all out. Very similar to what you did! Love it and would totally do it again! :)
