Wow... 5 years ago this opened.... I remember going on during spring break and it snowed. This ride is truly an awesome roller coaster.

This is the best coaster I've ever ridden! It's extremely smooth for a wooden coaster. The first drop is epic! Unbelievable! Then the rest of the ride is super fast, up and down, with winding turns, and finally you're hit with the double heartline barrel roll to end it! Just an incredible ride! My favorite coaster ever! Can't wait to go back to Silver Dollar City to ride it again!
I'm at Branson in planning to ride I'm making my 13 year old sister go she's afraid of heights so this should be fun she will probably hyperventilate when we just start moving 😂😂

I road powder keg but was too scared to ride outlaw run . Fuck I'm going back on Friday not sure which is actually scarier
Love all the rides at SDC. I live about an hour away and it is pure awesomeness. If you're hungry before or after the ride there is a potato stick stand right around the corner from this and the barn swing, Amazing!!!!! :D

Such a great ride. It’s over fast but it’s intense and thrilling . Looking at it and riding it are two completely different things.
Sweet! I haven't been to Silver Dollar City since 1997. Thunderation was the wildest roller coaster at the park at the time.

Outlaw Run still holds its own against the best coasters in the world all these years later. Probably the best night ride in the US along with Voyage.
Hope this is still running during Old Time Christmas which is when I'm going. I go to this theme park every year it is a family tradition.

My little brother used to be scared of carnival rides. (Even gental kiddy rides) He later became an operator at this very ride. 👀
So much fun. We went last weekend and hardly had to wait for any rides.
These people are lucky. We were there on Wednesday and on top of the most ridiculous lines I've ever seen at an amusement park, Outlaw Run was down almost the entire day. They finally got it up and running around 4pm so we stood in the queue for about 90 minutes. We were literally like three groups from boarding when someone passed out on the ride. Instead of bringing the EMS personnel through the exit, they emptied the entire queue line and made everyone leave. People were pretty pissed.
DAMN!! That line, though! I would wait until later in the day when the line isn't so long.
I rode this ride with my cousins and we say in the 3rd row....so many memories man

They were actually building this when I went back in 2009! It took them almost 5 years!!!
Saw you guys filming there. Was trying to get into Media day but when emailing them from the media site they said I was too late at the time.
One thing I would like to say is that even though I know this footage was taken in the early spring when the leaves are not yet on the trees, it is still obvious that they have failed to live up to the animated concept video of having the coaster weaving around the trees in a mature forest. It seems like they did what virtually all coasters built in the last 40 years have done and completely strip the area of all its trees. Watch Beast POV footage to see how its properly done.
People, if you go to Sliver Dollar City to ride this, ride Fire in the hole to. I love that ride.

Looking I thought to myself I would never stand in a line that long for a ride even if its new. Then my memory jogged and reminded me I did stand for intimidator at carowinds for 5.5hrs in 2010 smh and 4hrs for banshee at kings island this year... I'll be at silver dollar city next summer and cant wait.

Haha I got stuck on it before the first drop. We got a complementary outlaw run stage coach pass magnet and a free go to the front of the line pass for an half of hour worth of sunburns. I’ll remember baking like that for the rest of my life lol

I'm not surprised. I went with my cousins and between being literally pulled out of your seat, the rough ride, and the creaking sound, it is one of the scariest and most fun coaster I've ever been on
+MrMCAlien I've noticed the noise. I'm a season pass holder so I've been a few times. When I went in December I thought it was just the cold tracks and wheels touching but I came back in early June and it made the same noise. I hope they fix it

This ride belongs in the top three wooden coasters, along el toro at great adventure and the voyage at holiday world.

That HAD to have been a 4-5 hour line! I am a die-hard coaster fanatic, but there's absolutely NO way i would've been in that line. I would've been riding Wildfire!
I went on here and I didn't cry during it it ended and me and my mom got off and she said was the ok or something like that and I started to cry

Sorry to break this to you but, these people weren't the first to ride. Jack Hershend ALWAYS rides first on all rides before the public does. That's how they found out that the trolley that pulls you out of the cave wasn't safe when he went backwards on it and broke several ribs. They corrected it after that.
We know that and we also rode the coaster for two days prior to filming this video. However, like we said in the video description, these are the official "first riders" that won the contest to be the first to ride the coaster on it's opening day. Get it?

That ride gave me the worst headache ever when I went on it this past summer.
I went to silver dollar city last year and rode every thing at the park it was fun
It will look great when the time is right of the year. Also they can't just have too much overgrowth for safety and maintenance.

I have been 17 rides; so far, and have yet to ride it in weather temperatures above 65 degrees F. Shoot, rode it with snow on the ground in May, even. One of these days I will find out how it rolls in warm weather.

We went to our six flags magic mountain its best to go on a week day less waiting time
This ride normally has no wait time. Wildfire, powder keg, or water rides have the longest wait
+Gabriela Flores it's all in when you go. We went about 3 weeks ago and wildfire had no line. Powder keg, plunge, and lost river had the longest lines. Powder keg broke down at one point so the line was somewhat long 15-20 minutes. Thankfully Sdc has misters!!
ddrusa I go here all the time. The only time the lines are "long" is when it's nice outside or if there's an event going on (Ex: This Weekend is Young Christians Weekend,) but if its a little chilly or a school day its not a bad wait.

What does it feel like riding this? It looks like it would be painful. I would prefer the over the shoulder restraints, but of course I like to feel secure and restrained on these rides.

Yeah, The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter is a mob scene. The only way I was actually able to see most of the stuff in it was because I went straight there when the park opened and I was at the very front of the line of people waiting for them to open the gates. It seems like everyone in the entire park goes there and then just stays there.
