@@asrieldreemurr1918 I just recently picked up havik and been using him with tremor and been winning on ranked and I honestly don't even feel like I'm that good with havik. Sounds like a skill issue tbh

You can sample or remix a track. but you cant charge selling that remix to other people. you have to make it free download for your remix.

It was because of content creators, like yourself, and pro-players who kept labeling Mavado as "O.P." and "Broken" that caused this, when in reality he really wasn't.
As I've said before, most, if not all, of his moves are rendered useless when people can just block everything. That, and his -100 health pretty much made sure that he'd never get picked, ever. Especially with characters that absolutely can't afford to lose that much health.
But you guys didn't even say anything about that. No, you just focused on his damage potential. Like you did with Ermac, even though he also has horrific scaling with no good startups to justify it (great, now he's probably going to get his damage nerfed despite the fact that he already does too little damage).
Don't act like you and the others didn't have a hand in this. The next time a new character/kameo comes out, please stop labeling them as "O.P." or "Broken" and actually get into the areas where they don't work, or else this constant, misguided nerfing will keep happening again.
Underdog definitely says alot of false/misleading things in his videos. I watch him every now and then but that was part of what made me unsub

At the very least could they have at least buff the hit box for his best feet forward assist? It's not bad but when I try finishing a combo string that launches the opponent far away, I would have to time it so that Mavado doesn't just zip through the screen as hilarious as it looks.

To me, Mavado looks just like David Boreanaz. Also, but not just charging for modding, but other things, the younger generation are always playing the victim when hit with cease and desists, what do they expect, they don't seem to understand copyright and ownership.
Yeah, I've seen those "modder dramas" happen many times with different companies, f.e Rockstar or Riot Games and every single time everybody on the internet is immediately defending the modder(s). Of course there have been many cases, like the Street Fighter one, in which the company is just attacking moders for no actual reason. Often though the modder is actually the one breaking the law, even if they themselves don't know it and don't have any evil intent. Yeah, it is sad that Toast had to delete the videos and his patreon page, but at the end of the day he did infringe on WD's intellectual property, so he was in the wrong here.

Yes, you need access to the game files to make changes. Only a couple contains games allow mods though the game itself

The dark shao should've been the skin you're using. The actual Dark Shao skin doesn't look like Shao Kahn as it 100% should've looked like.

One more reason why paid mods aren't fine is because you don't even own the mod you make. The modding tools is developed by people and the models are ripped by other people from other people's IPs.
Example: goku's model was ripped on deviant art by someone who "stole" it from the DBZ games without explicit permission. Then the model was used with a mod loader. All of those people were unpaid in doing so hence why they don't get trouble.
No characters need to do 50% damage man. It’s just not needed in mortal kombat.

I'm obviously sad that Mavado got nerfed this much and this quick, especially because I rock Shao and Mavado, but he's still definitely a viable kameo!! That team is still killer; Shao just doesn't do as much damage anymore. However, I will say that Mavado already has 100 less health, but his crazy damage with setups complimented for that. I'll say because of that, the nerf was unnecessary. However, my opinion still stands: no character or kameo in this game is bad, and I will die on that hill!!!

Yeah, those nerfs were unnecessary. Some people were saying Movado was pay to win, but I 100% disagree. He helped out some characters like Havik who absolutely needed the help, he made a mid tier character like General shao amazing, and in general he was just a good and fair cameo. Yes he can allow you to get amazing damage, but the lower than average health made it fair.

Kitana's "The Comeback" starter no longer does an effortless 41.5% with Mavado, and in fact does not break the 40% mark. It's truly a sad day for us Kitana fans.
