Thank you for your review, I enjoyed the format and moreover the honest "every man" approach, you didn't come off like a salesman as in many other reviews. You earned a new subscriber today.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback, that's what I'm going for

What is this bike like to ride with the power assist off altogether? I like the idea of the belt drive and simplicity but wonder if I would be better off with a geared bike, like the Aventon Soltera.2 for casual rides.

I have the CGO 600 (not the pro) and it’s a nightmare to padel without any assist. But with the PAS at 2 or 3, it’s really enjoyable.

I tried it with no power and it's doable IF you ride on mostly flat roads. The single gear is tricky for hills

I bought this other day . I just ride it on level 2 . Done 19.5 miles and it’s down to 55% Battery so probably get 40 miles out of one charge . It’s also bad up hill , I’m just getting used to it after my last ebike where I didn’t have to put much effort at all in . But on a straight road or down hill it’s class and quiet

Yeah, it's not that powerful for hills for sure but glad you like it overall

Hey man, is it possible you may be able to do a review on YUME HAWK pro? The scooter has 4 inch wide tires!

Great review!! I was wondering could you do a comparison between Tenways CGO 600 pro and Velotric T1ST? For city bike/commuting purpose, I wondered which one rides more smoothly and comfy? Any insight would be helpful, thanks in advance!

Thanks and I no longer have the T1ST although I did a review on it, I'd go with this for comfort, it's a very nice ride

How tall are you and which size did you get for the CGO600 Pro? I'm 1.78cm / 5'10" and am not sure which size to get between M and L. I'm kind of in between sizes, and i can't really test drive the bike where I live.

Love the review - probably the best I've seen on this bike so far. Question for you: on your 22 mile ride, how did the bike handle the mild but long hills? How would you compare it to a non-electric bicycle?

    • @ElectricRevolution
      @ElectricRevolution  Год назад

Thanks! Glad you liked it! Mid range hills aren't bad, bike handles anything from like a 8% grade and lower very well, you'll still get a little burn but it's not bad. This just takes the edge off, gives ya a workout but you're not dead after 20 miles

@@ElectricRevolution Appreciate the response! I'll probably be buying this bike in the next couple of weeks, I'll use your link when I do so - have been scouring the internet for the answer to this question from someone with actual experience.

I’m an experienced cyclist and just got one of these, my first ebike. I took it out and tested it on the longest hill on my commute, which is about a mile long. I flew up the hill way faster than I could on my regular bike without even breathing heavily.

2:03 what a trash bike lol. Why even bother having electric if flat out you can only hit 16 to 20
This is like one of those products you see on TV, that's just as difficult to use as just doing the thing it's invented to do for you.
Like that invention that scrambles the eggs for you in the shell so you don't have to do it in the pan. But you have to do each egg individually in this machine which would take more time than just cracking a bunch of eggs and scrambling them by hand

I like the analogy lol but I think they were going for a bike to just take the edge off for those who wanna road bike but need just a little help, that's what it seemed like for me anyways, I think there's a market for these types of bikes, time will tell

Somebody using an ebike for commuting doesn’t need to go any faster than that and if they are on a bike path should probably not go faster than that. I just got this bike for my work commute and it’s perfect for that. I didn’t want a 60 pound throttle assist bike that is essentially an electric moped. Also, this bike weighs less than 40 pounds. Since I need to carry it up and down into my basement, that’s a major factor. Also, I only weigh 150 pounds and am used to riding a non ebike. This bike has plenty of power for me and makes me feel like I have super powers on hills. Different bikes suit different people. You can’t assume that everyone wants to go 30 mph without pedaling.
