Israel has a long history of such operations. I think they were able to put much more explosives in each of them, but that wasn't their goal to kill, thousands of wounded were. They are not a threat anymore, they will be afraid of their own shadow, their hospitals are overwhelmed and can't receive more patients in case Hezbollah decide to do something stupid, a lot of their comanders were hit, so their ability to operate was hit too. And let's be fair, 4000 killed even if they are all members of a terrorist organisation, will bring "a strong condemnation" of world leaders.
