Hiiiiii there and welcome back!! 😊 Hope you're all doing well!! I've just wrapped up my sophomore year of college--can't believe how fast time flies. To celebrate the summer, today we're making this adorable Froot Loop flavored rainbow cake with colorful stripes around the outside. Not only does this guy look adorable, but the flavor is amazing too. Tastes just like Froot Loop :-) And just because the Froot Loop crumbs tend to absorb moisture, I recommend baking and serving this cake on the same day if possible. Hellooo and welcome back!! 😁 Hope you're all having a great start to your summer :) I've just finished up my sophomore year at college, and took a short break from social media to do some personal reflection + introspection relating to the future. I just made this with Oreo cereal for my sister’s engagement party and it was delicious! 😍 But some things to note and what I did when making it:
Don’t over blend the cereal to a dust (I put it on top of the frosting and my sister still loved it but I still have so much left over and used a whole bag on this recipe which is way more than I should have Dx) or else it will mix and it won’t look as nice and may as well be flour
Don’t underblend the cereal! Any big chunks like halves or quarters of a loop became chewy when cooked and it’s not pleasant 😭
I put my cereal milk into the fridge when infusing it in a container and mixed it every so often and it made all the difference and didn’t have to worry about the buttermilk spoiling!

I have a box of Froot Loops sitting in my cupboard so now I have something to make with them! I wish Australian Froot Loops were the same bright colour but they are a bit duller here.

I literally only eat froot loops for cereal, they're my favorite and they just came out with marshmallow froot loops like the lucky charm marshmallows in fruit loops so not only do you get froot loops but you get the best marshmallows in the world lol
