nice work broskie! numbers on intake manifolds arent relevant thankfully. but the lower plenum came in 2 different styles. old style = SMALL PORTS (rounded design) + old style injector seats and then new style = Larger ports (squarish in design) + new style injectors seats. these can only mate up to there corresponding year heads. so old style lower with old style heads, new style lower with newer style heads. upper plenums are all interchangeable. thankfully =]
I just swapped out the engine on my Z32 and I didn’t need to drop the subframe. But I have had some that I did need to. Idk why on some yes on some no but this last time I didn’t need to only remove the steering shaft.
Yeap same here lol the first time i did it I didn’t dropped Dow but then I did it again and I found it a lot easier for me when I dropped 😃😃 thanks 🙏🏻 for the support bro 😃😃
@@VZGarage keep on bringing the z32s to life!! Also don’t even worry about not being able to take the turbos out with the engine in the car. I know of one person that’s done it and it took him longer to take one out then it took me to pull the motor and trans 😂
Nice job... I know this is a 2 year old post but can you remember what weight setting you had that engine hoist arm set on? Curious cause you never took the bumper off like a lot of people and yet you took out engine with gearbox as well.. thank you.
How you doin boss I it was like 500 pounds all the was extended and to take it out with the trans you have to lower the subframe just a bit to have Enough Clarence

Thanks 🙏🏻! 😃 I have a playlist on the channel! of this build! 😃 thanks for the support! 😃
I'm guessing the different numbers on the plenum refer to its casting number maybe.. 👍
