I just have to go to Harbor Freight to get the glass beads and I already have stuffing. Next is the rooting tools and mohair but that can wait for a bit. Glad things are looking up for you. You look beautiful today and I love the dress. I prefer long flowy dresses myself and usually get a new one every year but didn't find one I liked this year that I could afford. I love that gauze material (and it is called gauze, I worked at a JoAnn fabric and I sew) I have a few tops out of it and a nightgown I love. It is a cotton fabric sometimes mixed with poly now adays. My grandmother used it to make her diapers ( she told me she used to put snaps or hook and eyes on them instead of using pins).

People don’t realize how stress and worry can cause extreme weight fluctuations. There was a six month period where I lost my dad, my husband lost his job, and we had to do this big move to be closer to my grandparents and help with them and their declining health. I gained nearly thirty pounds during that time, and all my family (not my husband or he’d be ☠️) could say to me was, “You’re getting so fat!” Like, sorry my body processing all this trauma by producing excess amounts of cortisol is bothering you.🙄 I keep trying to lose it, but it’s just gaining and losing the same ten pounds for over a year. I can’t imagine how stressful this divorce has been on you. I like your mindset of worrying about the weight later, too much other stuff to worry about right now!
