- Hey Guys! The Nike PG 2 was officially unveiled today in the PS4 colorway. With that I wanted to give my thoughts and first impression on Paul George's second signature shoe along with some of the WearTesters.com readers thoughts. Nightwing2303 think the price wouldn't change but still disappointed that there's no heel cushion, I mean even the Kyries have forefoot and heel cushion now, why not add a small podulon unit at the heel to stop it from feeling like a brick save for the forefoot?
I'd love to see what a pair of shoes you designed would look & feel like...
i rarely ever comment, but when you said you were getting old it made me realize how long i’ve been watching your vids, ever since i got my first pair of actual ball shoes (d rose 1.5) ive seen almost every performance review youve done even back when they were 10-15 min long. fav review you did was the kobe 6s tho

Pg1 was and still is one of my favorite hoop shoes. With the updates and non price increase I am pretty positive these will be up there for me again. Great content as always..
I picked up the okc colorway, wasn't really feeling it in hand at first but being a thunder fan i copped them anyway, when i got home i tried them on with all my ball gear, they looked like straight fire, couldn't have been happier, they feel great, especially the zoom, i could feel the zoom on carpet which is amazing, the price its amazing also, 5/5

Crazze Imma get it when other colorways are released, I sold my PG1 to my friend for $95
The PG1 had a great fit, good materials and traction was beast, aesthetically were aweseome and it was easily a top 3 Ball shoe, if the PG2 carries the same elements i believe they will be a top seller again and the colorways will weigh heavy on people buying them because they are kind of generic but not bad looking at all

A bit off topic, but i'm really glad you got rid of the "green" screen. Your personalized background works way better. Also, nice seeing the Flight Turbulence on the shelf. I had a pair some many years ago. The Black and red. Really nice.
Superb heel cushioning means awesome impact protection for heel and achilles.
I'm having the same kind of thoughts with the PG2 and Harden Vol. 2, I loved the first ones and to me are great looking shoes (the Harden also a great performer) but the second version of each line really don't look that awesome to me, like you said these are just like a lot of other Nike shoes from these days (most of them budget) but, perfomance wise, these, (just like the Hardens but specially these), look like an improvement in the areas the first one were a little bit lackluster, like the cushion and traction, not bad but not great. I'll wait for other colorways to drop and get one, because I'm feeling the PG2 will be a very good performer. Great video Nightwing, thanks for sharing your thoughts and all the info you got.

I'm excited for the PG 2...def going to try and get the PS colorway because i'm a PS guy...it's going for $110. Love the tech spec improvement, especially the Zoom pad and hoping the the stretch zone do what they are suppose to do. Plus i'm a sucker for any shoe with a backward swoosh.

I have a few PG1'S and I'm sure I'll buy at least one pair of the 2's. I just hope they don't do what they did with the early KD models. 3,4,6 were trash. 2,5,7 were awesome.

I love the PG1 reminds me of the LBJ 12 low...very comfy and steady in a way that your foot one is to one with the shoes... like your wearing a bedroom thick slippers😁😊...
On then new model...it looks the same as the LBJ Ambassador...and due to its hype this will sell like tge 1st one... but for me PG1 is this the best..Cheers...

What people don’t understand is that Nike offers different price range for all budgets. What would be the point of Full length Zoom if the KD and Lebrons already have it. You start with the PG and Kyries then as price goes up with the KDs , Lebrons, and Kobe’s. Nike is catering to all budgets. Simple as that people!🤦🏻♂️

I finally got a pair of pg1s to hoop in although i had 2 pairs that i wore casually. I bought them a half size big but my playing pair is true to size. Cant wait to see the actual differences between the 2 on court. (Finally will play in the pg1 today) If i can get the ps4 edition pg2 id wear them casually and get another colorways to hoop in

Colorways are kinda make or break sig kicks...so far kyrie 4 drops awesome colorways( confetti and london PE) hope pg2 does the same..though lodi nightwing is right just an average nike hoops shoe..nothing exciting.. ill jusy wait with a nice colorway with the westbrook zero.1

They are dope but how much will they cost and secondly will they be super tight on your foot like the pg1
hey Nightwing what is a good basketball shoe that is for wide footers, because my younger brother has really wide feet and he wears a size 8.5. He tried on the hardens but they hurt in the same part of the shoe where you had a problem. THANK YOU
That's a solid look and move. Some of the best sport games soundtracks come the from there but if done right PlayStation could run with Nike.

I dont like the direction of the swoosh. Same reason why i didnt get the Kobe AD NXT. PG1 is still better aesthetically😀

I think these will have the Sophomore slump. The PS2 colorway is going to be a fun drop but after that, this model won't have much excitement.

Which would work w the dual density foam. But it’s been removed. 🤷🏻♂️
I think the slightly raised outsole might cause a lil instability and might reduce some of the traction coverage, that's why Nike decided to make the outsole flat. What's ur take?

M4rauder only thing that's a down grade on em is they aren't rechargable so once the lights in the PlayStation n pg logo die out, they officially can't be re charged, which I feel is a rip, other than that I'd prolly cop cause it's just a unique shoe
