These video shows the process of making a router table attachment for the SawStop contractor saw (CNS175-TGP) using the Rockler Pro Router lift (#55803). If you have a different saw or router lift and want to make this, you will need to modify some aspects, however the same principles should apply.

I have watched about 15 before building my own and this is by far the best with using the rabbit to droop the plate in and the dust collection shroud with drawer, well done
Thanks so much! Glad to hear you found it helpful
Great work on this mod! This is helping guide my upcoming saw purchase as I see more and more content on adding a router table to a wing and will incorporate that option into my choice. Love the mellow build environment. Very inspiring.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Such a great router lift. Great use of space, JT
Thanks Kris! I'm pretty stoked on the addition
Great idea and execution I have the Sawstop contractor saw as well and am thinking of doing something like this Great video editing also.
Really like the addition of the bit and accessories storage
Thanks! It helps a ton
great video...nice work and editing
Awesome work Johnny! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks buddy!!
Yasoo! I've been meaning to do this with my table saw and you gave me some great ideas. Thanks!
Thanks Peter. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for sharing.
This is a very timely video, as I just installed a new router table top for a new router lift. I got stuck on cutting the lip for the insert. I'm ready to move forward now !! Now on to the dust collector box ... !!
Awesome! I'm glad you got something out it. Thanks for watching Robert!
Just looking for your website address to order your plans.
@@roberthoyle6442 It's the top line of the description. You can also get them here - jtwood.works/collections/plans/products/router-table-plans
Good ideas brought together to accomplish an excellent modification. After two years since your video was made how has your router performed?
Glad you enjoyed it. Both the lift and router have been working great. Haven't had any issues
Very nice! I am going to do that in my shop as well... Where did you find the black melamine plywood? I tried looking for it a long time ago I could never find it
I got it from my local sheet goods dealer here in NYC. You may be able to find smaller pieces online though it'll be more expensive
Hi Johnnie - great video, thank you for making the plans available. How has the router lift held up for you? How often do you use it?
I use it fairly often (a few hours a month) and it's held up great! It still functions the same way as the day I made it
I’m looking to buy a router lift. Would you still recommend the rockler pro that you installed? A couple reviews we negative about height drifting up or down. Great video.
I would absolutely recommend it! I've never had a single issue with it
Great Video - Any reason why you couldn't have installed this on the right side of the saw ? I am in the process of getting a SS CNS and would like to integrate a router table. With the location of the saw in my small shop - having the table on the left would be a little awkward. thanks !
Absolutely possible! It made sense for shop and setup to have it in this location. Most router tables in table saws are on the left side but this better served my workflow
Did you fasten the top somehow, or is it just sitting on top/gravity? I noticed you have the same annoying 'high bolts' that connect the wing to the cast iron top as my saw does. Makes it hard to build something that can be all glued and screwed up, but can also be removed from the saw when necessary.
I didn't show it in the video but I ended using trim screws to fasten the top down. One on each corner and barely countersunk. Keeps it looking clean
Hello! I’m going to purchase your plan to make this, but the 55803 lift is out of stock. Does the one for Rockler table (52429) works? Thanks for all your amazing videos btw!
Also can I keep the mobile base with this mod? Since the SawStop add-on is not compatible with the base.
@@Sagatto I'm not familiar with that model so I'm not sure if there would need to be any changes made to the design. I'm not familiar with the mobile base so I'm not sure if that would work either. Sorry I can't be much help here
@@JTWoodworks No problem! Thank you for your reply!

It has been almost 2 years now how has the melamine top held up? Is it still flat? I heard that you should double up the top so it will not sag from the weight of the router, but in your case maybe the dust collector box added enough rigidity for support.
It's holding up really well. Not much warping or sagging at all. Doubling up the top might help but yes that box definitely adds a ton of support
How did you manage to get the correct radius at the corners of the opening for the plate?
I traced the plate and used the correct size forstner bit to drill out the corners
Are you happy with the saw purchase? Power, dust collection etc? Any regrets? I'm debating between your saw and add extras later or a harvey. Thanks in advance.
I'm very happy with the saw. It's been able to handle everything I've put it through without much issue. I'd definitely recommend it
@@JTWoodworks awesome! Thanks for the response!
what are the door latches called? where can i get them?
They're toggle latches. Most hardware stores carry them
