I am 73 in Mississippi, USA. I started investigating Native American musicians and I was overwhelmed by the wide diversity of the various tribes, everything from traditional to rock and rap. So I started listening to indigenous groups worldwide beginning with Australian aboriginal digeridoo groups.This led me to indigenous groups in just about every country and Otyken. What's not to like? Beautiful females in native garb, wonderful harmonies and a primal beat. I've seen a lot of fantastic bands starting in the 1960s, but Otyken is unique imo. Somebody said music is an umbilical chord to nature. Bach felt that the closest we mere mortals would ever get to actually talking with God was through our music. When I see Otyken I am spiritually lifted.

@donkanis6141 Well, I know what a "Shaman," is in my time in Mexico, El Jefe, " the boss. But I imagine it's different in different countries. Shamans in Mexico collect plants and herbs in the desert to make medicine and psychedelic mixtures with peyote, cannabis and jipsom weed. But thanks for the tip and I will definitely look it up. I believe we can access a higher level of consciousness given the right conditions. Can you envision a world of peace and serenity? Sounds far-fetched I know. But we are all capable of thoughts that we make into reality. We are all creating the world we live in, not some God sitting on a cloud in heaven. Us people are responsible.

Greetings from Australia 💙 What a wonderful ensemble this Otyken is proving to be. Vocals, instruments, costumes with roots dating back millennia have landed in the 21st century, taken what we know of music, video and live production technology and turned it upside down brilliantly. How can one not smile, laugh, cry and dance along with such talent. The official MV of Altay and Phenomena are, in my 58 year old opinion, simply masterpieces (It would be great to see Otyken include Altay in future setlists). I pray that leaders will abandon conflict, and that the wonders of present day Russia will once again grace the great stages of the world. Peace and love 🙏💙🇦🇺

OYTKEN just watched the entire concert you are definitely a class act, up there on stage all of you very talented. Over my lifetime ive seen hundreds of concerts of some of the greatest bands ever to have ever played on stage, many are no more. It was by accident or maybe by devine grace by the Almightys design that i came across one of your music videos that captured my ear, heart, eyes and mind. Listening to many of your Ancient ancestral cultural Siberian indigenous native songs, listening to interviews of the cultural history, to your interviews and of so few who speak the indigenous language as the timeline moves on. OTYKEN the indigenous Siberian native tribes band brings those traditions, cultural recognition, inspiration for others in native indigenous tribes worldwide a platform to sing, dance, pray, meditate, fellowship. Having Cherokee blood in my family's history gives me a little more personal, spiritual, emotional, and effective role in action to help in the gifts i have been given by the Creator to contribute as a vessel of his grand design. My humble prayers for your Band OTYKEN in much success going forward to overcome adversity in the world that has become stuck on the hamster wheel of deception, oppressed by those who have no empathy, joy, love, or connectivity to the land, the air, the water, all of nature, especially a tight relationship the devine Almighty Creator of all Creation, may they seek the truth, free themselves , find liberty.

I wouldn’t call “ musician swamp of Russia” like every nation of the Earth musicians are the one who are changing people outlook to the world. Yes they had “ Pussy Riot “ but others had “Sex Pistols “ or even worst than them. Here in the USA we had more trash than in any other countries. What I like about OTYKEN that they don’t try to mimic any other style or genre of music. Except Mongolian troth singing which came in the mainstream of music by to HO. BTW, it looks like girls, women,are taking the leading role in the music industry. Bands from Japan Or North Korea or China recognized that we like it or not, they are just as strong or even stronger than man bands and their talent is unmistakably out of this world. OTYKEN is different, they are trying styles infuse in their music, Rap, Hip Hop which neither I like but as I said they are differently performing that trash in their own style. The most called Swamp is Mexico by Americans only, and it’s a band proved them wrong. Their name is The Warning,a three piece sister rock band from Monterrey Mexico. Going in a by language school and “ tortured on Piano “ in children age they are writing and performing in English, and they are the ones who are the closest to OTYKEN in my mind. As their names said they are warning the Human population of the oncoming dangers in their lyrics. Now I have two male bands as favored bands The Beatles and Pink Floyd, and have two female bands the Warning and OTYKEN. Sorry for my long comment but as an educator I have to tell the real story about bands which are going in the mainstream of music and what kind of go this girl’s chosen I repeating their lyrics in my dreams to. Have a nice Day or Night Brother!

I don't understand the language but I have Lakota Sioux lineage and see and here similarities in the music and vocal style. I'm also a rock drummer and until 15 years ago, I was a beekeeper, so it was only natural that I was drawn to this group. I love this music and cannot wait for peace to allow them to visit the US.

This is fantastic! Was really glad to see when I woke up. Watched again with some family later also...I'm from Michigan and it is great to see a well filmed concert from this band! I can tell a live performance is as good as a studio one. We think Ach should get more film time during Paradise lost during his background vocals thou. Definitely my favorite band since I found them! 😂

I am quite enamored with this band and have listened to each and every song dozens of times at home, in my car, traveling. All I can say is tears - tears of joy! They touch me in a place I had no idea existed. I love all the members of the band and would love to see them here in the States. I realize the circumstance of this world prevents their arrival any time soon, but count me as the first in line for tickets for this group. They are outstanding , endearing and beyond anything I could imagine... much love to Otyken! Bravo!!! Come see us soon!!!
