I think the reason why they put the door handle in the window trim is so that it won't clash with the hip lines and to make it look like a 2 door fastback
Why are people who are reviewing the 2025 Kia K4 complain about the rear door handle. The Toyota Prius has the same door handle configuration no one seems to complain about that vehicle.
@angelo1001 THANK YOU! A million dollar question I'm waiting for the answer of. I just think people complain about something that is too radical or different from them. I love it. It gives it a more sportier look. People just want this to look like a Corolla. Boring and basic.
IDK why, but the EX in Mexico market, the headlights color is all white and it has a silver chrome line detail on the underline of the side door windows that makes it look so nice much more premium looking than the EX released here in the USA , SO Disappointing KIA.
Some small styling strangeness but a contemporary car. Stick with the LXS and save a bit. Good care and car will serve you well -better than most cars on road. You make potential customer aware of value . Good review and lesson in vehicle selection!
@louispaxton8336 That is true. But I think I will go EX for the dual climate setup and leather wrapped steering wheel if a sunroof is not a must-have for me.
I like the design just the wheels make it look cheaper. I’m waiting for the hatch, and hoping by then they made a hybrid bc that would be a really smart move
I'm not a fan of the exterior design. It just looks weird. Those back door handles is a bad design. Kids have a hard time getting in. Up in the Northeast winter storms, those door handles will freeze up. Honda HRV had the same design but they finally changed it in the new models. The review was excellent as usual. 👍
@@jraheemjefcoat429 It's the way their made. Most door handles you can wrap your hand around the handle and pull on it without your hand slipping off. On this type of handle you only use your finger tips. When the door freezes up it's harder to open the door. The Honda HRV had the same type of handle and nobody liked it. They finally changed the design. There were also complaints about little kids having a hard time opening the door. The handles are too high. I'm surprised you couldn't figure this out on your own.
The earlier Honda HR-V also had those type of rear door handles. The K4 rear door handles makes it look cleaner and sleeker.
Im waiting for the GT-Line. The EX should've added a power moonroof and power seats. If the EX had those features, then I would've been on board.
Me too. I’m anxious to see it.
Not to mention they could have added the 1.6 litre turbo on the EX
Can understand wanting power seats can't understand paying for sunroof just to allow water in the front and back from leaks.

@@angelo1001 I like it and same on new Prius, but there have been complaints .
I like it actually! Nice clean door!
Absolutely perfect
the ex should have power seats and sunroof
Agreed. Thanks Chris.
@christopherarmata823 Or an optional technology package. I would definitely go for the EX if they had it.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 I agree

Rather have the GT line turbo thank you very much
I bought a red one.
Can you drop the rear seats in the LXS model.
Yes.
Very weird shaped starting from the rear doors. I am not a fan of how you open the rear doors either.
Agreed. Doesn’t go with the car.
@FordEnthusiast413 A Prius has the same style with the rear doors, and no one is complaining about it.
I bought the lxs
Congrats! Enjoy!

Thanks Jack. Good to hear from you. Thanks for the feedback 👍
@@jackfrost99 Regular door handle can freeze up as well. I don't really get your rant at all.

@@jackfrost99 I live in the South. I don't have a lot of freezing weather here.
The door handles on the Forte were a lot better
Awful design
@@IAcityntv A better design!
They're selling so...
