      I know, and this is why I always cringe when I see people post things that say that every decision we make is ours, and it’s not our parents’ fault. Well actually it mostly is because of our parents and our upbringing. If she had been born to loving parents who gave her security, she would not have ended up in that lifestyle and not been desperate for money. She had no chance really, and the monsters who did that to her got off so easily, it makes me sick!

      The young 14yr old girl, went to the police to tell the whole story, it was horrific torture. She was 13 at the time. • @karascene13
      @karascene13 Год назад +26

      Didn't the 13/14 yr old girl participate in some of the torture? I thought I heard a part of the story where the gf said, "it was fun." Maybe I got that wrong.
      There's a similar story - I think it also took place in China. A teen girl was tortured by teen boys for a long period of time. She was even held captive at a teens house-- and the parents knew she was there, but did nothing about it. Mike will probably cover it at some point. Just God awful stuff that makes a person nauseous. And I watch a lot of true crime.
      And the prison sentences that the people got in the story Mike shared, were like 20yrs with the possibility of parole?? What?? I thought going to prison in China would be horrible, and you'd be in there forever. Apparently not.

    One of the people I graduated high school with was a special needs man who later was murdered, along with his parents, by a pickax wielding 16-year-old. This happened in 2011, in New Mexico. I always end up thinking about them when I watch your videos because, well, murder and all that. There was a billboard up for a long time with a picture of all of them, asking for anyone with information on the case to come forward.

    I listen to these stories in the background, while I'm working on my computer. This format of telling 3 shorter stories works for me - probably better than the longer ones, as I have a tendency to lose focus and then have to try to find out where I drifted off... and then I have to pass the extra time expenses onto my clients, which drives up my rates... so thanks for helping to mitigate that.

I can't imagine the suffering that poor girl endured :( Also as for the girl that told the cops, she would've never told if she wasn't feeling so guilty cause of the terrible shit they had done!! I don't believe in immunity for people involved in such horrific crimes when they physically played a role in the actual abuse of the victim. A reduced sentence maybe but that girl should have been punished as well. And charging these monsters with the lesser charge of manslaughter is not justice for this lady IMO. Tragic
