Rescue fly traps help with flys. I have at least 4 to 6 around my horse pen. They haven't solved the fly problem but they sure help. Bought mine at home depot and live stock stores about $6 to 7 each. They smell terrible but are not poisonous. Keep water in them so they don't dry out. Put them near Daisy's pen
Puppy chow?!?😲 I'm from the PNW and have never heard that before today! 😂 We've always called them Muddy Buddies. Lol It's so interesting that within the same country but different states (sometimes even in the same state but different areas) call the same thing something totally different. Have a great day everyone 💕
Nice job...the video had me chuckling and I think you have such a soft heart for your puppy, which is so sweet! Hope your trip went well....Love Emily's humor....
“What a bout a dryer” 🤣 emily that was an amazing one liner! The photo with bella in the back was gold 😂 she wants a pair of antlers too. Happy thanksgiving
Your voice is so soothing. Could listen to you forever. Might try listening at night to see if it helps me fall asleep. Might try doing a Mathew McConaughey night tape. Lol dude hustle.
Bella is too funny. I thought maybe you could get a picture of Bella and Daisy with the reindeer antlers. Hope you had a wonderful trip. Glad Emily is feeling better. Blessings❤️🌺
Hot hot hot is the normal for the southern hemisphere . Husband and son putting out the lights on our house and fence in 36°C (97° F ) heat. We have just had a large bush fire and 18 homes lost here in Perth ( Western Australia ) this week.
Make food puzzles for Bella. It will be a game, and a puzzle (mental stimulation), with little bits of kibble as reward. Little bags made for dogs, sometimes sold as toys, with velcro on them work well. I would tell you where I got them, but they were picked up various places, most often as part of a different toy group. Put one inside the other, roll or fold if needed, with a few bits of kibble thru out. I make one for my Scooter everyday and he loves it. Another thing to use is old socks. Get ten socks, put a little piece of kibble or treat in each. It may take her awhile to figure it out, thats ok. You can watch, if she get frustrated or struggles too long, you can show her.
I have a 70 lb 9 month old puppy. He has chewed up furniture, walls, and whatever he can get hold of. I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this. Thank you 😂
'ReinDaisy'! Loved the close-up shot. Bella needs a red bowtie. She will mellow with a little more time. ...still has some puppy to get out. 'Barn' looks great too! Enjoy your time away and we'll be awaiting your return.
Your feeding chicken to your chickens reminded me of how our hens got their 'revenge' on Henry, our rhode island red/plymouth rock cross rooster. Henry was under-serviced with our ten hens and mangled their heads and shoulders. He also was attacking our four-year old so, stew pot time. He was so tough he ended up on the barn-yard compost pile. Guess who finished him off - seemed fitting 😏 Glad someone else draws those blanks :O) Oh noooo, how many poinsettias did you buy!?! Wow, you can plant them right in the ground?!? Guess so at 80!! Our first two/three days of snow is on its way :O Love the 'barn' decorations, especially the bells. PS - you're both just having toooo much fun!! O) 🇨🇦
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this! Your decorations are beautiful and I absolutely love the pictures of Daisy. Would liked to see Bella wearing antlers too in the photos but being a puppy that would be quite the challenge I’m sure. 😂 I think this is my all time favorite video. It feels so festive and relaxing. The music while decorating was a great choice. Great job!!! I hope you had wonderful time away.
Bella and Daisy just seem to be really settling in like they've been there forever. Do you think Daisy is a bit lonely without others of her kind around? Shouldn't she have a buddy? :) I think you need 2 just cause she's so adorable.
Send some 80 degree weather my way. This is the first day we have had double digits to almost freezing (31) since Thanksgiving. Great videos, Brian! The beard looks really distinguished. You all have a flare for decorating; the red bells are perfection. I’m sure everything will be beautiful when you finish. Many blessings
Thank you Brian, I hope your family had a wonderful vacation! P.S. I would have said the same thing as Emilie said when you said you needed a washer, how about a dryer. Great minds think alike. 🌲💚🙃
I’ve got two 1 year old puppies. . . I have to watch them every day, all day to be sure they don’t ingest something harmful. It’s a big job, hang in there 😅. Everything is looking beautiful and festive🎄
Now I know why my ranaculos didn’t come up. When I bought them instructions didn’t say soak. Thanks for the tip. Have fun on your trip. Decorations look great.
So refreshing to see a guy so excited about decorating. Around here there is a lot of disappearing and boat projects to do when it comes time for decorating.
Looove the decorations, the antlers on Daisy, Emily's jokes (my kind of humor, lol), and Bella's antics. Homestead is looking lovely... and flower planting to boot! And good decision on Bella's training in the pasture. I'm sure it'll be fine. Cheers :)
Chewing up everything eles is a puppy. My i had a puppy that chewed the runs on my rocker. 1 that chewed my wicker chair, dont forget shoes and the list goes on. It is part of having puppies.
Did you really think we would look at the corms instead of Bella? Hehe. I did appreciate your demonstration of what to do with the corms that came later. A lot of people make it seem so complicated. I also think your plan for training Bella is loving and sensible. P.S. The ribbon fabric is gingham. P.P.S. The barn and fence decorations are terrific!
Everything looks beautiful! The bells look perfect on Daisy’s barn. You know, you need to plant things you can trim with for the holidays. Winter and fall not only is it fun to gather, real trimmings look and smell nice without creating a storage issue. Win/win! Don’t know if you’ve solved the frost and tropical garden issue, but I’m in NorCal 9b and use white strings of analog (they get warm) lights on my fruit trees. If it’s going to be a really hard frost I still sometimes throw some sheets over, but my friend in colder Sacramento does not and her trees are fine. Hope you had a wonderful holiday!
Great job on decorating Brian. I loved Emilie’s idea of Daisy as a reindeer. The jingle bells are awesome along with the other decorations on the barn. The “ribbon” print is called “buffalo plaid” so very fitting. The window box on the English cottage is gorgeous. As always, your video Inspired me, touched my heart, and made me smile. I need to get myself a green stalk and get some strawberries going on my patio. Love and hugs to you, Emilie, Noah and all the fur babies ❤🤗❤️🎄🎅. (Lovin’ the beard by the way)
What was once called gingham check is now commonly referred to as buffalo check. I love Emily's one-liner, "dryer" 😂😂😂😂 Have a blessed Christmas season. ❤ ~ Rhonda
After a couple Oregon below freezing temps, I still have green onions going strong in my Greenstalk. The roots are so strong, I can't even pull them out! I have to cut the tops off if i want to eat them.
You’re so excited about decorating! Daisy is so adorable 🥰 hanging Christmas lights in the dark😆😆🤣 I’m sure your home will beam like a star at night🥹 Happy to hear all is well 🙏🏽have an enjoyable safe trip.🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
Lol, you definitely have your hands full with Bella. 😊 and yes, she’s still a puppy. The barn looks great! Thank you for sharing. I’m so enjoying what you are doing to the property. Happy holidays. ❤
In Cyprus we have just had a sudden cold snap of 12 deg Celsius (53.6F) but next weekend we are going back to our normal 20C (68F.) Can’t wait, don’t enjoy the colder weather, personally. I was raised in the tropics where it was in the 30s (68+ F+) all year round.
Really like the decorati😢ons and daisy looked adorable in her photos. Have a great trip and try to chillax. Love Bella and the way you said you were going to train her sounds great. Cant wait to see everything once its done. I love decorating for Christmas.
"Oh it's actual stuff." That was funny, Brian. But then you quickly clarified that it was "non-Grwenstakj" stuff. That was very nice of them! I have asked for a Greenstalk gift certificate for Christmas.
We call the Chex/pb/chocolate/powdered sugar treat 'Puppy Chow'. I think Muddy Buddies may be a newer or brand name, but it's always been Puppy Chow for us. I also have to laugh at all of the dog 'suggestions'. Like you haven't already had a dog for a long time. I know people are just trying to be helpful but I think they forget this isn't your first puppy. Our dog destroys almost any toy we give her so there's a limited number of things that work for her. Somehow our Golden-doodle is also part shark. We barely finished our outside decorating before our first snow started to fall yesterday. 80 degrees definitely wouldn't feel right for Christmas decorating. It looks beautiful and I love the pictures! Dais E. Cheese is very photogenic.
The check pattern is called gingham here in Australia I don’t know if you call it the same in America. The lights along the fence are beautiful. Cute Daisy reindeer .
laughing at your Black Friday garden shopping. I did the same thing, except I got plastic shoe boxes ($1 each) to use for Wnter Sowing up here in frigid S Dakota for my native plant garden.
Chex calls it Muddy Buddy's, I have been making it for 35 years and the recipe I was given called it Christmas trash because its tossed in a trash bag. I have also seen it called Reindeer Chow, puppy chow.
The picture with Bella on the fence is a keeper.
Looks like Daisy has really gotten very comfortable with you. ❤
Those Chex mix with chocolate, peanut butter and powder sugar treats are called Muddy buddies!!!! Lol
Some people call it reindeer food. Here in Illinois.
We call it "Puppy Chow"
In the northwest, it's called puppy chow
Puppy chow?!?😲 I'm from the PNW and have never heard that before today! 😂 We've always called them Muddy Buddies. Lol It's so interesting that within the same country but different states (sometimes even in the same state but different areas) call the same thing something totally different. Puppy chow here in Ohio.
Emilie is definitely a hoot.
I agree, Her comment about the dryer just cracked me up
It was Brian’s face when she said it that made me giggle!
Emily is funny… a dryer and I’m loving it that she is on the channel more.
Glad Emilie is better we had it here also not good.
Daisy's shelter looks so cute! I agree, the bells are great! And her outfit is adorable. ❤
Black and white check material is called Buffalo check. Have a great break and can't wait to see the rest of the decorating!!
Your voice is so soothing. Could listen to you forever. Might try listening at night to see if it helps me fall asleep. Might try doing a Mathew McConaughey night tape. Lol dude hustle.
Thanks!
Daisy was such a good sport about the photo shoot! Love your decorations!
Bella is too funny. I thought maybe you could get a picture of Bella and Daisy with the reindeer antlers. Hope you had a wonderful trip. Glad Emily is feeling better. Blessings❤️🌺
I can't imagine Bella would sit still long enough
Blue sky..gorgeous!
Beautiful decor on the barn, you did such a great job
Thank you so much!
Those poinsettias will grow into trees in your zone. They do here in South Australia. I had never seen this until I moved here.
Beautiful decorations! Love the pictures of Daisy and Bella and Emily!
Hot hot hot is the normal for the southern hemisphere . Husband and son putting out the lights on our house and fence in 36°C (97° F ) heat. We have just had a large bush fire and 18 homes lost here in Perth ( Western Australia ) this week.
checks are called
gingham
The gingham check ribbon and garland are perfect over the barn! Godspeed on your trip!
I believe the pattern of fabric is gingham?
You are correct

my two dogs now 4 also chewed my walls....I had never had a puppy do that before. glad to hear that they aren't the only ones that chewed walls.
@@kaydeed2615 when did it stop?

Love all the decorations, especially Daisy’ “house”. Hope you have a great time away. Many Blessings!
The only thing better than a pet cow is a pet Bella! Great pics with the reindeer antlers!
Where is your Daisycam ? Decorations are so nice !!!!
The fabric is gingham, a checkered type pattern
Your feeding chicken to your chickens reminded me of how our hens got their 'revenge' on Henry, our rhode island red/plymouth rock cross rooster. Such cute reindeer pix of Daisy! Thx 4 sharing!
I will gladly send you real snow as soon as I need to snowblow my driveway. It will be soon.
Thank you Brian, I hope your family had a wonderful vacation! P.S. I would have said the same thing as Emilie said when you said you needed a washer, how about a dryer. Great minds think alike. 🌲💚🙃

Here in indiana we call it puppy chow.
If you remember many years ago purina puppy chow looked a little checks mix with a white milky residue on it.
Now I know why my ranaculos didn’t come up. When I bought them instructions didn’t say soak. Thanks for the tip. Have fun on your trip. Decorations look great.

Puppy chow. Yum

Emily you are so sweet with Daisy!!!❤

Not sure if you already know this about storing mushrooms, but they'll last longer in the fridge if stored in a paper bag! Worth a try!
Those wreaths are called pancake wreaths they are really good for in-between a front door and storm door as well
Nice job decorating!
I ,ove the lights on the new wooden fence… it would be nice to leave those up all year🤗👩🌾
Hahaha!!! To warm, come to Utah!!!!😊😅😂😊

Yes. Great ideas!
I LOVE the way you decorated Daisy's enclosure! Now you're going to have to get her a Christmas harness and Bella a Christmas collar! 😄😉
Can't wait to see it all lit up in the dark!!! Have a great trip! Hey Emily so glad you are feeling better!
Excited to see Daisy’s barn decorated!I think you need a third bell!!
It looks like real farm with decorations, Beautiful
Thank you so much 😊
Loved this video ... your joy (especially when you decorate Daisy's corner of the homestead) was palpable ...😊
That garland on the stable is gorgeous!
Thanks!
I agree that the shelter you built for Daisy is not a shed, but I think it is closer to a Manger than a Barn. ( At least for the holidays) 😊
Love, love the barn garland and bells. Give yourself a few pats on the back❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏
Great job on decorating Brian. I loved Emilie’s idea of Daisy as a reindeer. The jingle bells are awesome along with the other decorations on the barn. The “ribbon” print is called “buffalo plaid” so very fitting. The window box on the English cottage is gorgeous.

Daisy's decorations look adorable!
I hope that Daisy loves her decorations 😅 ! Beautiful! Blessings 💞🙏
Lol, poor Daisy! 😅
You will have a very homecoming welcome upon your return 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
I love all the poinsettias and the garland for the barn. Sooooooo cute! Enjoy your trip.❤️🎄

I would just leave the fence lights year round. They look really cool.
daisy's barn looks awesome! Emily: Good choice on the bells
Thank you!
My husband is decorating his chicken barn 😂 Everything looks beautiful you did a great job!! ❤
Be very careful when reaching in to the hay, trust me snakes love it under the tarp/in the hay.

Just awesome!
The Bells and Garland look Fabulous! Have a nice time on your trip.
John and I love Daisy’s decorations!

Absolutely love all
The Christmas Decorations!!!
Don’t forget poinsettias are toxic to dogs !
Love Daisy's barn! Very cute.
Ok now, I didn't get anything from Greenstalk 😂😜
Love all the work you've done lately. Great fence. Very nice decorations. Can't wait to see the rest. 💖🙏🏼
"Oh it's actual stuff." That was funny, Brian. But then you quickly clarified that it was "non-Grwenstakj" stuff. That was very nice of them! I have asked for a Greenstalk gift certificate for Christmas.
You'll love it
If your gift certificate is the wrong size, I’ll take it off your hands so you can get one that fits better! 😂🤣😉🙃😉
Just a lighted star on the chimney 😊❤
The decorations looks fabulous and the bells are adorable!
Good thing you found the box before little miss Bellarina!
So true!
