- Ramcharger 8, an eight-seat, D-Line chair with ergonomically-shaped, heated seats and a "Big Sky blue" bubble, now transports 3,600 skiers per hour to the top of Andesite Mountain. That lift is amazingly smooth to ride too.
Hopefully Boyne/Big Sky keep those chairs / seats maintained as time goes on. It’s a beauty of a lift. Less than stellar job at their home base mountain in MI. 🙃

Big Sky is so worth it. It is still one of the premier skiing experiences in North America, and not overrun like some others. I wish that I lived closer.
Brings a whole new meaning of "which way are you going" when you reach the top. Would like to see some Warren Miller video of this.

I wish Beech Mountain Resort in North Carolina had replaced its 1987 Doppelmayr high speed quad lift with a Ramcharger 8 instead of the slow quad that they chose.
The lifts at that place are mega slow... sugar has better lifts and terrain

Doppelmayr is actually an austrian company, not german... (well technically it's a consolidation of Doppelmayr and the Swiss company Garaventa and simply called "Doppelmayr Garaventa")

There are so more advanced lifts all over the world. Gondola one in vail has heated seats as well and can go faster.
