@@johndwyer9325 Nah according to reddit the mod author is a bit of a hermit aka really hard to get in contact with and having to rehash all his spells for special addition then port them to xbox would take a massive amount of time. So it's very unlikely.

Yeah, I play a mage, magic is really fun if you have phanderix Magicka evolved and apocalypse, I also use one of the magic mods from the creation club, and summermyst enchantments

Nice video Don. I remember when I used to play a mage, without Apocalypse it was pretty hard (and empty...) in late game. Typically kind of mods which make you discover Skyrim again and again!

Dude What A Coincidence I Was Looking For Some Magic Mods
i do recommend forgotten magic redone(imo best spell mod out there) and colorful magic(mostly for the new bosses and items included in this mod instead of the 200+ new spells it provides)
edit: as with most mods though you will probably need to adjust the difficulty at some point, in forgotten magic redone your spells level up and you choose perks for them. if you set them to max lvl5 then its ok, but i set it to max lvl10 and you become overpowered so i had to play legendary. if you like challenge play legendary and set max level of spells to 5.

Forgotten magic Redone is by far the most well designed one though in my opinion.
It has a whole system for leveling up the spells. Changing how they work in various ways, and it has a bunch of spells that cover different play styles, without being overpowered.
I would recommend using Quick Casting with it though, as you don't want to do all the self buff spells manually before heading into battle as a battlemage. Just exercise some self restraint :3
As a pure archer/warrior I freaking love conjugation spell, especially bound bow and conjuring a meat-shield to help me against dragons)

I would also like to recommend Colourful Magic, its a very OP magic mod but I think it goes well with other mods. For example if I have a mod that makes dragons very hard to kill then the Colourful Magic spells aren't so OP. Colourful magic also adds a shop in whiterun or winterhold (your choice) where you can learn new powers and shouts, buy the spells and also buy and craft new enchanted weapons. Colourful Magic also adds extremely OP enemies across Skyrim for you to find and kill, the enemies drop special loot. It also adds 5 followers.

@@DAshBFJEY nah I'd replay it every once in a while even without mods. Mods add a fuck ton of content and replayability, but skyrim is a decent enough game to be replayed without them if you've never experienced mods.
So windwall is now a spell. Getting that one for sure

to add to the list, I really like colorful magic www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37440/ speacially the darkside edition, it add over 300 spells and 50 new enemies that use those spells, is a bit op but some of the enemies are as powerfull as the ebony warrior so those spells are meant for fighting them.
Yes, I know this mod, it's a great one, but many spells are OP and most of spells amount is exactly recoloring, etc. But it's great no doubt.

Forgotten magic redone is my favourite magic mod and also one of my all time favourite mods.

I never really managed to play a mage in Skyrim. I play this game for seven years already and I can tell... I played as a warrior with sword, mace, axe and shield, with a greatsword, a warhammer and two handed axe. I dual wielded daggers, maces, swords, axes. I played as an archer with a bow (without sneaking). Then as an archer with a crossbow (without sneaking too). I played as an assassin with a dagger and bow (with sneaking). Hell, I even did an unarmed playthrough! But as a mage? I never manage to get to mid game. Early game, I can deal with most of the shit but come mid game, I get killed almost instantly if it's not by the fucking archer, it's by the two handed wielding motherfucker that takes no damage. I didn't know what to do until I found this mod. It just makes it so much more fun with all those spells. It adds so much more depth to this playstyle. Depth and strategy too! Now, don't get me wrong, I still get buttfucked by the warriors but it is just so much more fun to play! Thanks a lot Sinitar! You've got a like!

I find that incredibly odd considering you can stagger things to the point where they can't move at all, much less get a chance to even swing that slow warhammer at you.
How do you kill dragons as a warrior? I tried out sword and shield and either get eaten or take way too much damage from them

Have you ever seen anything stop a Blessed Weapon that was slicing them up? I've used it countless times and enemies, as far as I can tell, cannot stop it.
What, no "Witchunter Spells and Prayer Pack"? Hands-free spell-casting, apply temporary elemental & speed-enchantments to your weapons on-the-fly, elemental-resistance cloaks, non-overpowered time-manipulation, weapon-skill boosting spells. It's a must-have for anyone doing a non-pure mage class (Spellsword, Nightblade, ect.)
Both Apocalypse and Lost Grimoire perfectly fits any non-pure-mage build as well. I know the mod you described, and it's more liek a "power" mod, not a spell mod. In this video I covered exactly the spell mods and not other mechanics.

I love mage builds, the only problem is magicka Regen is sooooooooooo dang SLOW (and for some reason even slower when you actually need it).
I'll definitely be downloading these when I get the chance. They look awesome. Phenderix also has upgraded versions of basic spells like sparks and even a tri-elemental spell.
Imagine, mana regen perks, enchantments, abilities and potions exist...
@@SinitarG I know, but even then it feels slugish during combat. Honestly a mod that removes that reduced regen during combat crud would be nice... Actually is there one that dose that?

Ah! For this, just use ASIS patcher spell distribution. Works with any spell mod. Also Apocalypse and Lost Grimoire partially do this by default, but through ASIS its better.
Sinitar, is it possible to use ASIS to add these spells to enemies? The spells are cool, but I don't like being the only person in Skyrim who can use them. If they're added to enemies, how do you think it affects combat? Is it really noticeable the enemies have new spells?

Using space time magic mod + psijic teleportation mod + Arcane magic mod + singularity basiclly make you a God. Stop time, teleport your enemy to oblivion, make a portal to sovengarde, wrap space, cast a giant meteorite, spawn black holes and even make you become omnipresent.

I'm surprised you didnt+' mention the progression system in Forgotten Magic and the ability to customize the spells. Grnated you could probably do a whole video on that mod.

Same as any other vanilla spells
A good skyrim player uses all combat styles. When you're out of potions what do you use? Restoration spells.

Man, you didn't even mention the best part of the Forgotten Magic mod, which is that you get to level up the spells so that they gain new and different effects

Daniel Frank All it does is introduce new spells, so yes. I use Ordinator and Apocalypse myself, and the only minor issue is that the Ordinator destruction tree perks don't work with some of the FM spells for some reason, but there is a patch from the Nexus that aims to fix that. The Forgotten Magic spells are powerful enough and have so many upgrade options, though, that it hardly even matters. Forgotten Magic does require SKSE and SkyUI, though, if that matters (but most of the best mods do, really.)

Yep :( Well, tons of mods are not out for SE. It's simply worse in both graphics and gameplay.
Easily. It has limited engine which is not able to run many major ENB features, and it has much less gameplay mods. Thus, it never will look same good and have same gameplay variety as LE. But wait, its more stable, right? No. LE today can be 100% stable even with 500+ mods. Yes, you was lied to all the time. Welcome to reality :)
You can LE very cheap now, like $8-10. Just search :)

I see you like using third person a lot, this mod will help you TONS in terms of aiming in 3rd person. Makes it so that depending on the speed and direction of your movement, the camera will be on the appropriate shoulder of your character, allowing you to see where you're aiming. www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89516

Guys i've a problem installing Apocalypse with Vortex, i mean installation goes fine but the game won't start, i've Skyrim Legendary Edition and i got this problem with mods that require Skyrim Special Edition. I don't known if the last version of the mod need it since it doesn't tell it in the description....i really want to use this mod, someone have a solution for my issue? Thanks in advance
