I think your vids are great already fixed my dryer because of you and now I’m on to my dishwasher which my wife put washing up liquid in and upset something 👍👍👍👍👍👍thank you. You should get a medal for saving the environment just think how many machines are saved from disposal because of you. Thousands and increasing by the day 😀👍
Great explanation and than you. One thing I would add is that when you got the new replacement part it would have been great to use the multimeter on the new part and show and confirm the circuit to be working before replacing. Thanks again.
Thanks, bought the part from your ebay shop, all working. I messed up the legs as didnt realise you can lower them from the front with a screw driver. Thanks very much
Do you have a video for possible wiring? As I've changed the heating element and the small thermostat and still no heating. It runs and fills but no heat
Hi. Can you tell me how to test if the turbidity sensor is good or bad. My AEG dishwasher is not heating. I assumed it was the heater but it is testing fine. I assume it is not the PC board as the display is fine. Research suggests the turbidity sensor. I am in Australia. Thanks for your informative videos. Greg
Thank you for this video. I've removed my heating element as instructed and tested (the element itself appears to have continuity), but the bit in your video i wasn't quite able to follow was where (10:37 onwards) where you diagnose one of the thermostats going open circuit. Where you show us using the spare heater going across the 2 terminals. I cant quite see the points on the element where i am meant to be testing this
1800w should have 32 ohms resistance. however combined im getting 16 but 1 of the heater thermostats has browning like yours. , meaning ive problems correct?. in effect circuit is partially open?.
Glad it helped Thank you For leaving a comment this is for you ruclips.net/user/shortse432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's is what keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍
Awesome demonstration. Helped me no end to locate and test my heating element. Unfortunately my heating element is good so the search for the problem continues. Thanks for posting the video!
Bril. Followed the procedure no problems. A bit fiddley at times. The only annoying thing was when I had removed the faulty heater and checked it with the meter there was continuity. I'm absolutely sure it was open circuit in the dishwasher because I had used the meter and there was no heating during the wash cycle. Next time there are electrical contacts in a suspect device I shall follow the saying "if in doubt give it a clout" first.
I have Beko dishwasher and I can see that dishwasher is drawing 2000W (flow heater), but only for 1-2min in each cycle. I tried replacing NTC at the bottom, but that did not solve problem. Any idea/suggestion?
Hi, my dishwasher is washing and draining but at the end bringing tap light on and not heating water as well. What can be reason. We changed drain pump and inlet pump 2 month ago.
Hi, great informative video. Why would a dishwasher overheat? the error code is F7 and in the dishwasher manual, it's saying F7 is overheating. the machine is a bush dishwasher BFSSAE12W
Just had my 18 year machine stop heating while in the wash cycle yet seemed to heat just about enough dry everything. .... nothing wrong with it except the filter and little float needed a good clean... Check the obvious before pulling the machine apart
I was reading and found this online. "Bleach and bleach-containing cleaners are not recommended, especially if the dishwasher has a stainless steel interior." Why shouldn't you use bleach in dishwashers?

So I have a GE dishwasher and they keep telling me that I don't have a high limit thermostat and I do and I can see it myself so I'm wondering if I can put a generic thermostat in place it's a 180-degree thermostat?
I cannot be 100% on this but I would not recommend it as you do not know what the limit temperature was designed at. please use site when you have a question please use our site for 24 hour response www.how-to-repair.com/help/contact-us/ Iam Glad we could help you Please remember to subscribe to our channel ruclips.net/user/Apart4u Remember to Shop with www.how-to-repair.com and it would help us by posting the video or website on your timeline. Hi Stephen: Really the only test you need to do is across the 2 pins on the white connector. If your meter shows open circuit or high resistance, then the heater unit is faulty and needs replacing.
RSC Electrical hi, but can there be a case of a good heating element but a faulty thermostat? My dishwasher won't heat so I just unplugged the electrical cables from the heating element and checked the resistance and got around 26ohms for a 2000W element. The circuit board looks OK (no signs of arcing or black marks) so could it be a faulty thermostat? I don't know how to measure that

Warning. These Electrolux dishwashers have now mostly integrated heater inside inverter circuit pump, and if its not heating, problem isnt mostly in the heater, but because no voltage is coming to it from the main control board. (Not the display board on the panel) So check the relay with 9V battery if its contacts are switching but even here isnt mostly problem.

Hello mate do you cover the oxford area I think my heating element on my AEG dishwasher has gone
I was reading and found this online. "Bleach and bleach-containing cleaners are not recommended, especially if the dishwasher has a stainless steel interior." Why shouldn't you use bleach in dishwashers?
The only thing I can think off is the salt container area. please remember to subscribe as that's is was keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍
what could cause dishwasher gets to hot (door gets hot )? is still could be thermostat or turbidity sensor.
Hi Paul: Have you seen the Slip joint, Corbin pliers from Mac tools ?. I find them much easier to use. Andy
Realy it's very knowledgeable video thanks sir
I can see he is pure pro , nice vid:)
Thank you so much, my engineer
So on my multimeter if is says 0.00 v a/c does that mean the heating element is dead
Very clear. Excellent work
