I'm quite sure that the problem on these news filters is as on the older XXI filter, the 3 or 2.5 shade on the grinding mode is too dark for grinding. So you will not be able to see details on what you need to grind and also in your environment. Moreover you will exhausted your eyes to compensated the dark. That's why I will stay on the first version of G5-01 even if it's heavier.

@@3MSpeedglas Unfortunatly no because the G5-01 is too heavy. So the G5-03 is too dark in grinding mode and the previous version is too heavy. So you don't have to conclude on a satisfecit but on ways to improve your products. I'm waiting for it! Thanks from an H24 welder
Please fix the tasklight cable that connects to the battery first. It keeps breaking. I've gone through 2 of them already. Now I can't use the light for the past 6 months!

I had a VC filter for some reason it changes colour as I'm welding 🤔
