Your hair and makeup in the home portion is perfection! Good choice on the pants too, that style and length is much more flattering on you than joggers.
I love Athleta, I don’t work out however I do work in the “automotive industry” I can go from a meeting with some very big industry people to crawling on my knees checking lines and moving palettes in a forklift. This is the best line for work wear that looks beautiful and let’s me get down and dirty.
I discovered Athleta several years ago and have built a nice wardrobe. Many Athleta items are perfect for travel. I go to Europe often, for a month to 7 weeks each time. Athleta pants, especially any of the Brooklyn styles, are perfect for trips. They pack small, easily wash in machine or the sink, and dry in a flash. I try hard only to buy things on sale, fortunately the sales are often (as you mention).
I have the urbanite top in white and LOVE it. I wear it all seasons. Looks cute with a font tuck dressed up under a blazer with dress pants or jeans. Looks great under a polo sweater or sweater vest. And it’s UPF 50 and breathable for those of us who have had skin cancer.
I am always looking for casual wear pants that are not jeans, so thanks for highlighting the cargo pants. I live in Colorado and wear jeans/pants almost year-round, so I love seeing new ideas. Thank you!
I love Athleta for casual wear. I’ve even found a few things for work. And great pieces for travel too! Their quality is top notch and wear so well. I do workout and yes, Athleta makes clothes for active people. On a whim I purchased the styles you tried on to wear on a trip to Tanzania in December. The Urbanite shirt was brilliant. Wash and wear. Perfect. I bought similar pants and yes they were ideal as well. Think travel for many of the items you tried on.

I kind of liked the first white shirt, but I could definitely see the bra. I have the Brooklyn pant - I’m 5’3” and a true size 4, and I never get Petite sizing due to exactly what you mentioned; the inseam is too short, under the arms, etc. I like my casual pants more loose, especially for traveling, and I bought size 6 regular in the Brooklyn. The 4 actually fit perfectly, but I like the oversized look more with the casual pants.

I love the quality of Athleta and am thrilled they opened a store in my town where we have been losing retailers for years. They have great workout wear and their shirts, like the one you modeled, and their pants/joggers are great for travel. Thanks for this video.
They are stylish and wrinkle resistant. The tanks I bought for layering had some wool content and silicone on the hem so they stayed in place. The Urbanite top was worn repeatedly.

I have a few of the 7/8 leggings from athleta that I adore for this time of year,but their prices are a bit high for me for what they are. I find much better prices at other retailers. I may go back for those black travel pants though. Would be great for travel.
I can't justify their prices for leggings (and if I'm going to pay a lot for leggings, I'm going to buy more Honeylove leggings) but their more unique pieces are definitely worth it.
I so wish I could wear a puffed sleeve anything. The problem is that I have wide shoulders, and to make matters worse, I have a medical condition that has caused a lot of swelling in my shoulders. Yikes! However, I absolutely love the way you look in this sweatshirt or sweater. It's a really beautiful piece that elevates a basic and adds femininity. OMG, the blue sweatshirt is everything!!!! It's a chic sweatshirt!!! I really love that button-up and I hope they have it in some colors instead of just white. The blazer is awesome!!!! Loving the harlow shirt. Wow! Love these. I think they are classic so worth the price. On tv these do not look like workout clothes (at least any gym I have been to) Girl…you are so self-conscious of your beautiful body. The 80s model body style is coming back in . That era destroyed the minds of young people. One of my daughters took modeling classes in high school. She was an athletic size zero. The company (out of NY) told her that with her body shape she would be limited to sports clothing and only in circulars, not magazines. She is 40 now, continues to fight body image but not in an unfit way. She still has the athletic body, teaches yoga and works out. She is a lifelong swimmer so he has the shoulders and beautiful hour glass figure. Embrace your womanly beauty. Are Talbots and Chicos still fashionable? Those were my go to styles, when I wasn’t in scrubs, in the early 2000s. Towards the end of my career I dropped Talbots and went to Soft Surroundings and loved the style and softness. Living up north I can get away without wearing sleeveless outfits that show arms, thus I don’t wear dresses. I prefer linen but linen that doesn’t bag out so bad is difficult to find. Anyhow, absolutely love this episode. Spent a week in TX, down by Houston and took close that were too warm. Would have been better to take a tank with a cotton shirt.
Chico's and Talbots are definitely not out of style, but you have to be careful with what you get from them. You can definitely go in a wrong direction (think really frumpy) or you can find some great classic and even on trend pieces.
Im a long time fan of Athleta. I usually have to order my petite size online because my brick and mortar store doesn’t carry petite. They have really good sales, Marnie. I love the Brooklyn ankle pants and have them in multiple colors. Great for traveling. But they do need to be sized up.

I love many of the pieces I have bought from Athleta, but their larger sizes are weirdly spaced. I am thinking about the blazer for work though and am looking for pants for work.
I really like Athleta's clothing, my favorite pants are the attitude joggers (black), paired with a v-neck sweatshirt or black tee and sweatshirt cardigan. The sweat shirts are super soft, but don't wash well. I do think their clothing is over priced. The joggers have held up well and are my go to.

You are so sweet! I just asked for a blunt cut to hit at or near my collar bone. There are a few layers but I'm trying to grow those out. Have fun on the Harley!
Would you ever consider doing a try-on with a larger size subscriber, like mid-small plus size? I would totally road trip to San Antonio for a try-on with you helping style a bit larger sizes-and slightly different shape- I am more of an apple shape.
It would be fun if you hit a local consignment shop. I know not everyone can shop there and you couldn’t post links. But it would just be interesting to see what you can find.
It's not just about the links-I can't link Aritzia but I'd like to film a try on there soon. It's just I am not a big fan of consignment shopping. I know I'd probably get a lot of views, but it would be dishonest of me to make it since it's not something I would normally do.
I absolutely LOVE thumb holes, because they are so flattering, and make arms look better and longer. But you can always just not wear the thumb through it.
I'm not against thumb holes, but they're not particularly practical, and they limit how you can wear a shirt. As long as it's not too tight in the cuffs so you can move them out of the way, it's fine.
Ideally I would love to. It’s a little tricky filming in the store. Between the other customers and the employees not loving it, it’s not always easy. I’ll see what I can do for next time!
I realize you wouldn’t be able to link things if you did this, but what about a consignment store? It might help people realize there are some amazing and unique finds at places like that’s and inspire them to think a bit more sustainably with their fashion.
It's not so much about the links, it's just not my style. I know there are channels that are dedicated to shopping that way, and if you have any to recommend, please share!

Low core fitness here. I don’t care what I wear to work out. As long as the boobs stay put and the little belly roll stays covered. I’m going to sweat. It’s going to get washed a lot. If I pay Walmart price of 20 bucks and get a year use. I’ve done just fine!! Athleta in my opinion is for “fashion” wear. Not for serious working out.
And why would the gathering straps bother you? They look nice. OMG, Anything different cant be a problem. And no, all flare pants dont need to be worn with heels. I live in flared high waist flare leggings. I wear them with boots or nikes.
Do the pockets on the side of the cargo pants make your thighs bulge out? Some seem to hit me and make my thighs protrude more. I wear a 14. Thank you.
I am sure most of their clothing is great quality, but never would I purchase a $119 see-through white button-up shirt. For that price, it shouldn't be.

Over the past yr athleta clothes are making a lot of their clothes using cheap fabrics - it feels cheap but at a big price. I have a lot oftheir clothes from past, and it is good quality. Hopefully they will get off the rayon and plastic materials.
Are you actually suggesting that the lowest paid yet most important people in the world - teachers - should buy comfy pants from Athletica which are three times their budget? I’m sure they would love to have these comfy pants but you were a teacher think about it…
Since I started my career as a teacher, I am in fact suggesting that they buy these pants IF THEY ARE IN THEIR BUDGET. They can wait for a sale, like I suggested. I may be mistaken, but Athleta may also offer teacher discounts.

Are Talbots and Chicos still fashionable? Those were my go to styles, when I wasn’t in scrubs, in the early 2000s. Towards the end of my career I dropped Talbots and went to Soft Surroundings and loved the style and softness. Living up north I can get away without wearing sleeveless outfits that show arms, thus I don’t wear dresses. I prefer linen but linen that doesn’t bag out so bad is difficult to find.
Anyhow, absolutely love this episode.
Spent a week in TX, down by Houston and took close that were too warm. Would have been better to take a tank with a cotton shirt.
Chico's and Talbots are definitely not out of style, but you have to be careful with what you get from them. You can definitely go in a wrong direction (think really frumpy) or you can find some great classic and even on trend pieces.

Im a long time fan of Athleta. I usually have to order my petite size online because my brick and mortar store doesn’t carry petite. They have really good sales, Marnie. I love the Brooklyn ankle pants and have them in multiple colors. Great for traveling. But they do need to be sized up.

It's pretty big, honestly. And I took over a closet in one of the upstairs bedrooms too. It's by no means normal!
I really like Athleta's clothing, my favorite pants are the attitude joggers (black), paired with a v-neck sweatshirt or black tee and sweatshirt cardigan. The sweat shirts are super soft, but don't wash well. I do think their clothing is over priced. The joggers have held up well and are my go to.
I've heard great things about their pants. The tops, not so much.

I absolutely LOVE thumb holes, because they are so flattering, and make arms look better and longer. But you can always just not wear the thumb through it.
I'm not against thumb holes, but they're not particularly practical, and they limit how you can wear a shirt. As long as it's not too tight in the cuffs so you can move them out of the way, it's fine.

I realize you wouldn’t be able to link things if you did this, but what about a consignment store? It might help people realize there are some amazing and unique finds at places like that’s and inspire them to think a bit more sustainably with their fashion.

Low core fitness here. I don’t care what I wear to work out. As long as the boobs stay put and the little belly roll stays covered. I’m going to sweat. It’s going to get washed a lot. If I pay Walmart price of 20 bucks and get a year use. I’ve done just fine!! Athleta in my opinion is for “fashion” wear. Not for serious working out.
And why would the gathering straps bother you? They look nice. OMG, Anything different cant be a problem. And no, all flare pants dont need to be worn with heels. I live in flared high waist flare leggings. I wear them with boots or nikes.
Do the pockets on the side of the cargo pants make your thighs bulge out? Some seem to hit me and make my thighs protrude more. I wear a 14. Thank you.

Over the past yr athleta clothes are making a lot of their clothes using cheap fabrics - it feels cheap but at a big price. I have a lot oftheir clothes from past, and it is good quality. Hopefully they will get off the rayon and plastic materials.

Since I started my career as a teacher, I am in fact suggesting that they buy these pants IF THEY ARE IN THEIR BUDGET. They can wait for a sale, like I suggested. I may be mistaken, but Athleta may also offer teacher discounts.
