His is a 1st gen m5 but they changed to have covering and have better quality. Like my m6 the 1st one I bought was rattling and weak on the shell, but my second one had no rattle and beter quality

When I plug it in, there is a little red super super dim light inside so I know it's on, but it doesn't move or accept any input whatsoever (clicks, movement, scrolling, etc.) Any ideas?

Thanks for that! I'm not entirely sure myself, how to use the DPI controller. As for the software, which is in the description as a link, that is the only link and setup I have to the mouse software. Other than the DPI shown in the video and what can actually be manipulated with, I'm actually unsure how it works. All I know, is the slowest to highest settings based on button presses (I'm not really a competitive gamer, so I'm not really into all these fancy things really lol)

I found a mate on eBay that had 5 of them NEW for ten dollars and thirteen cents $10.13 U.S.Funds each. I went and bought 2 of them one for my friend and 1 extra to have for me as a backup. This mouse really grows on ya. Love It !!! ☠😎☠
They are a Chinese company, so testing their logic on pricing is a difficult one lol. If I'm being honest I already mentioned before in the video that £30 isn't worth your money and around £20 or less, is the ideal I would pay for it. In the sense of sensors, I've only ever used budget mouses, so it's not easily identifiable which ones are which. Personally it feels good to me so I guess thats all that matters.
So yeah they do. I did a bit of research and PAW sensors are quite different. PAW3325 is like old HERO sensor from loghitech, and there is PAW3338 that is like HERO 16K sensor. so i think this sensor is not that bad for the price

There are coverings on the gliders on the feet. If you take them off it glides much better.

DPI is the top mouse button. Nothing wrong with the software tho, ran all checks and it is safe.
If it says it’s unsafe don’t mind it, it happened to me too, i allowed it and it worked perfectly.

As far as I can tell, mine isn't detachable unfortunately. You could get a USB Type-A to Type-A extension cable off ebay or something cheap tho :)
