I think it is also bc younger koreans audition more in bigger agencies first, they won't go to little/nugus agencies like that bc they don't know if the group will be popular or not. So i think escrow debuted older koreans bc they did not have a choice but yeah you're still right
in my opinion, debuting idols under the age of 25 is problematic and somewhat selfish. at that age, many of us are still figuring out our direction in life. by debuting at such a young age, they are subjected to giving up their creative freedom and autonomy to those in charge. i believe that the kpop industry intentionally targets younger people because they are impressionable, flexible, and may not fully understand the depth of the industry. obviously, people who are passionate about their dream of becoming successful performers may be willing to do anything to get there, even if that means sacrificing some of their control and compromising their own vision. i wish the industry would focus less on profit and commodification and more on people and community, and realize that it's important to wait until a person has more life experience and has a better understanding of both themselves and their chosen industry before debuting.
