Likewise, kids under 18 yrs old asking parents or someone older to enter for them. You may know this already but to others, one word. "Taxes". That why you read the terms and conditions. I'll even save time looking for it. "7. Taxes. All federal, state and/or local income and other taxes and duties, if any, are the winner's sole responsibility." Lots of people get giddy entering lotteries without planning out things which is sad but people will eventually live and learn. This is why in Tiers 1 and 2 you have a choice. As they have the most expensive price tags relative to Tier 3. Taxes are based on tax rate (based on how much you earn) and FMV (Fair Market Value) which is just a fancy term for how much the seller (i.e. Keysight) sets selling an item for. Selling online (e.g. Ebay, Craigslist, etc.) is not a guarantee of maximizing "profit" either. Especially after the Wayfair ruling (if in the U.S.A. unless lucky to live in 1 of 5 states with no sales tax). Wayfair essentially making most states able to collect online sales tax which would take yet another massive bite out of sales earnings (i.e. selling to a buyer in California, usually 9.75% or Texas usually 8.25% but can be lower depending on local laws). There is a such thing as a re-seller's permit that "excludes" this (doesn't feel different from the next sentence though) but doubtful Joe average entering on here even has one. As a seller you can compensate for that (by raising the price tag) however, that of course lowers the chances of a fast sell. Again, all this may or may not be legal depending on where you live. I don't live in other countries and therefore its your responsibility to know your country's tax code. Otherwise, expect fines too if you break the law! Usually, but there's also something called jail time too! Taxes and law are also partly why this drawing isn't even allow for whomever is watching. Best they can do is know someone willing to send them the winnings, move to another country allowing this or change lottery law in their country if that's the case. Lots of people ironically have gone bankrupt after winning something because they didn't know and went crazy with their winnings..... TL;DR: It doesn't hurt to dream but be realistic with your dreams. Its your responsibility after all as an adult 18 yrs or older.

Wow, Keysight finally broke my record of never winning anything! I was of course after the oscilloscope, but hey, I won the DMM! Thanks a bundle, Keysight, it actually comes in handy and I’ll certainly NOT sell it-it will straightly end up in my lab!
Woah! Wait! What???? I know one of today's winners, c'est moi! Thank you, Daniel and all of Keysight for this unbelievable prize. It will go to great use resuscitating retro computers and also testing and implementing new electronics maker projects. In Automotive, you usually test the supplies with pulses, that can have short duration or large steep. How well this machine would simulate for example the load dump pulse? Or is it too slow for such tests?

Hi, Keysight. I am in a need of a good DMM and oscilloscope right now. Can I be the winner of 12th March DMM or oscilloscope because I can't really afford it. Thank you.
I want keysight equipment really bad, but I can't justify such a large purchase "for hobby use". Guess the 30 yr old tecktronic analog CRT oscope will have to do.
It came to me today, could you add a diode, dummy resistor and another diode in parallel after the primary load to increase current draw in a linear path?
Why does the logger not show the vertical scales on the axis? ie. at 0:41 I can see the spikes on the green "output 2" (input to DC to DC) voltage but don't know what the voltage is that it is spiking from (above and below).

Try stress testing one of those chean buck-boost converters, see if they catch on fire! I am still optimistic about the giveaway! (I don't see any foreigners winning, so I think no prize for me, ever :P)

You should have measured the AC ripple from an alternator if you were testing automotive buck converters
